The Cal should get less recoil. Why should the combat rifle and scrambler rifle be op on their respective suits assault suits when the rifle and assault rifle can't? The gal assault needs a RoF skill.

Just reduce the kick. The AR doesn't have a true weakness besides range, but it's basically a CQC weapon. It should just be better, and RoF would do it.

are we addressing the fact that gallente and caldari should have a blanket bonus to all hybrid weapons like eve and not this incorrect system in dust of splitting the two up?
in eve gallente ships have bonuses to rails and caldari ships get bonuses to blasters. its not one or the other. any caldari or gallente ship with a hybrid bonus has that bonus applied to any hybrid weapon.
i guess were just completely ignoring eve online.

The problem with a RoF bonus is that it flat inflates dps - throwing away the balance were at, range also increases the ability to project dps (one of the often complained about issues with the rr). The current gallente bonus is quite good for keeping your effective dps high while strafing in close quarters.

The Gallente bonus needs changing, that's for sure. But this is getting off topic. The hinder the rail rifle in CQC, we should increase hipfire kick. To help it kill at range, we should decrease ADS kick.
