I want to join a Ninja corporation. All I need right now is some tips, practice, and f**king skill points for the scout suit.
Dust 514 newbie, never played any FPS games. Started a few days ago. SP is damn hard to get :)

Key skill for knife work is patience.
And then flanking.
You don't need stealth or speed but either make you more deadly.
I'd level up both biotics and eWar evenly and see what works for you.
I normally run an ADV Minimatar suit (can run proto) with an ADV KinCats and Stamina bottle. I run faster, further and recover quick. Key is to keep moving.
If I'm getting noticed to easily I swap out to a double enhanced dampener fit.
I do suggest getting ranged weapons. Sniper rifle and perch in a position, get a feel for ebb and flow of the enemy and then come on down and wreck havoc.
I'm not a pro, just a noob. Best streak with knives is nine in a row and yesterday I went 12/3 with an even spilit counter sniping and knifing.
My take on 514:
Five Empires, One Dead, Four Alive

The sniper is a little nerfed, not really good. Atleast the Militia Sniper is... I wanted a Nova Knives/Pistol (I forgot the name) or any sub machine gun, with Cloak. Which is why I need the cloak suit.

Sniper Rifle is expected to get buffed in the next hot fix. Nothing is final yet, but it looks like it will be getting a much larger head shot bonus. Once that happens the Militia Sniper rifle will be useful once again, at least in the hands of a good Sniper.
That is just an for your information. What you are doing is fine.
Also, the Nova Knife is a sidearm, so you can par it with a light weapon if you want. Although, pistols are being buffed in the next Hot Fix as well. Nothing wrong with running two sidearms (especially if you are using a Sidearm Damage Mod).
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Glad to know the sniper will be better in the next hot fix.

If you end up running dual sidearms on your knifing fit, I'd suggest either the smg, magsec, or scrambler pistols until the next hotfix where sidearms are supposedly getting a nice buff.

R 0 N 1 N was the only true "Ninja" corp around when it was running.
Unfortunately since Fanfest, Lightening left and R 0 N 1 N now just has a few straggling members and are not truly an active corp now.
I suggest joining the chat channel Scouts United if you want to squad up with fellow knifers. Maybe if you get skilled enough you can start your own Ninja Corp and fill in that void.

I am already in that chat. Do they have mics.? Because I have my TV muted all the time, and I just want to know.

On group chats like that you don't see people using mics, as most will have a squad or team chat active with voice.
If you are looking for a squad, just lfs, let them know you are new etc.

I wonder what lfs is, and I will be sure to tell them that I am new.

Espi0nage is a pretty good scout corp. I have no idea how active they are though.
You can't fight in here! This is the war room.
