Hey,
got an Cal Scout with 2 complex Dampeners and lvl 5 cloak and got active scanned?
I thought that would not be possible ( some stats from older posts ) ? Or does the bonus not work?

Was your cloak on?
The only suit that can scan you with 2 damps and no cloak is a GalLogi with a flux scanner(or whatever that ones called)
Otherwise, that could be a problem. Currently the Cal Scouts range bonus is only 3 percent per level instead of 10.

Gallente scout gets dampening bonus, not Cal. If you are scanned as a double dampened Gal, it means a gal logi scanned you.

Yes it was on. That means the 5 % dump bonus per level ( i got proto Cal ) isnt working :/

Cal also get a dampening bonus, because of the limited number of LS on the suits.
Just as Gal get precision bonus in addition to dampening.
That being said, it was recently demonstrated that Cal range bonus was not working as intended. It is possible the same is true of the dampening bonus.

CalScout profile is 16 dB at max passives with 2 complex damps.
He'd have needed an active, prototype cloak to beat 15 dB scans.

You see if a Cal Scout has 2 Damp he got 16 db and with cloak 14 !!! So Rattati writes with big letters that you can beat Gal Logi Scan!
But its broken, i had a PCQ and i was scanned the whole time!

He was just saying the same thing you just did.
Read more closely.
All he was saying was that you have to have the cloak ACTIVE in order to not be scanned. Simply having it equipped will not cut it.
