I'm really torn on whether to support encouraging players to buy Aurum for DUST. I have a lot of respect for Rattati and the other Devs trying to make the best of the tools they have to keep the game going. (Thank you!)
With that said, the community was keyed up to see the future of DUST at FF and instead saw a basic demo for a "new" game on a different system and now months later we still know about the same. For me, the lead-up to FF was borderline unethical as sales of boosters were promoted heavily when the decision had already been made that there was no plan for any more significant updates to the game.
Simply titling the thread "collector's cache" implies there will be a persistent and ongoing use for these items, hence why you would want to collect them. CPM posts in this thread have included gems such as "plans change" in reference to potential updates to the game and while they are not CCP, they are looked at as a source of information on CCP's plans that ordinary players would not have.
PLEASE don't make the same mistake Rattati. I believe you have the respect of most of the community because you seem to be forthright and honest. If there truly are no plans to develop the game further and / or you can't honestly say that CCP plans a future for DUST at least 12 months from now, in my opinion do not introduce these suits. If you cannot make these assurances but players want them anyway, at least be crystal clear about that. Hell, if you clearly stated you can't guarantee any future for the suits and to enjoy them as much as possible while I could, I still might buy one out of respect for your honesty.
TL:DR - "Yes" to BPO's with full disclosure. "No" to a second "FF style" cash grab

I have your forum signature on a T-shirt. Without the CCP part. CPM members wouldn't be supportive of this if we thought CCP was going to take the money and run. I'm not sure any game company can give you a 12 month assurance of where their business will be, but DUST's playerbase is actually growing, and CCP Rattati and CCP Logibro have done a fantastic job resurrecting our little zombie game. I can at least state that as far as I'm aware, there is no sort of death date for DUST, and I can't fathom them shutting it down if it's making money and it's playerbase is still strong. And if and when that date comes, we will encourage them to announce that as soon as humanly possible so people are aware of the timetable.
Thanks for the reply and good luck on the CPM Soraya. The feedback is appreciated.
As for the signature, I think anyone that was here for the "invalid fit", "spawn to blank screen" or "negative SP booster" bugs will see the humor.

I would prefer to see all new BPO's rather than recycling old ones. Those with copies of the existing BPO's don't have any incentive to buy more of the same. If new BPO's are introduced that would be something of interest for existing collector's and players just starting who didn't have the chance to earn them as rewards or buy them.
Items are only worth collecting if they are finite. I missed several of the early BPO's and would love to have them but what would be the point if another 1,000 were sold? Please give us new suits to fill in the racial gaps with different skins, tweaked stats or new bonuses please.

Agreed. If they are coming back, then racial parity has to be a goal in weapons and suits. All existing weapon BPO's are STD and suits are split between MLT and STD. (Master recruiter is the only ADV BPO that I know of which should stay that way). I would hope these new suits are STD like the Dren or Templar.
