if they were the original colour themses i'd been more excited. the camo stuff looks preeety cheap but having a bunch of BPOs again would be awesome.... unless the week after you close the servers down

Syndicate SMG yes as long as it had the Red body/Black highlights that it had before so i can have it on this char (only got it on my U.S account from Gamestop) because with my covenant c-1 and daemon shotgun it'd look pretty sweet all red and also the Daemon shottie should remain exclusive too.
as for Templar stuff. you want it go buy the Second Decade collectors edition. you'd get the weapons as well as suits as well as some pretty eve stuff too. the templar stuff should be limited to the collectors edition.

You can, but I wouldn't be able to provide direct quotes without quite a bit of searching going back to the Legion announcement. I do believe it's common knowledge though that devs have been moved off Dust to Legion, that staff has been reduced across the board due to the whole WoD thing, that no market integration with EVE is coming, no PvE, and we're not even getting all racial heavy weapons and vehicles either to complete the packs. And neither would such investments be worth it with the current player numbers, even if they have increased 5%, 10% Don't get me wrong, Rattati is great, he's the best in fact. But he can't save this patient. It's life support until they turn the machine off.
Gotta admit i'm with Aran on this. the general attitude the devs have given out concerning DUST514s future hasn't been overly comforting. the main stage of all dust news at fanfest 2014 was a 15min presentation for Legion with no news about future content or patches for DUST. i think that pretty much says it all really. fanfest 2013 promised so much to us and a few months later the new vehicles that were introduced were removed instead of us seeign any new ones. the Drone Infestation PvE mode was teased 2yrs ago in a trailer and we've never seen anythign else of it. i'd more than likely buy these new suits just so i have something new to wear besides the other BPOs i have but i'd be more comfortable buying them if i knew they'd be moved over to Legion when its released

Soraya Xel wrote:Turkevich wrote:What will happen to these BPOs when/if Legion launches? The inherent problem in this question, I think, is that Legion isn't a game yet, so they don't really know what will and won't be transferable. And if transferable, how things will transfer. But I would like to think any AUR purchases at bare minimum would be refunded back to AUR that you could spend again. In some things, particularly collectable/vanity things like suit skins, will be in some form hopefully transferable to Legion. With the clear disclaimer that no, CCP has not said anything on this ground for transfers, I'm recalling CCP Z's progression talk saying all suits were BPOs, so I wouldn't think transferring suit BPOs would be completely out of the question. It really depends what Legion actually is when it's launched.ResistanceGTA wrote:Whatever happened to, perhaps, maybe, being able to get BPOs of different races? I think these might be in the range of possibility (noting that new variations of existing items is generally possible in hotfixes), this is a good thread to mention desires for these things.
but by sayign that, doesn't that means that CCP have the option to include these BPOs in some form or another into legion? seeign as its in such an early stage, and now if they don't they would appear to be 'dicks' by not including them? seeing as a large amount of playerbase has purchased BPOs and in New Eden BPOs are a crucial element of the game, every item used in the game from the small ammo loaded into a frigs turrets to the outposts and titans themselves are built from a BPO.
If manufacturing was included from the start it allows a fantastic oppertunity for CCP to have a way of both earning income from the game and enabling a good career for players who want to spend real money on it.
If BPOs for all items are made available (as in EVE) but for AUR instead and players can refine modules from either pub matches, FW, PvE or even buying minerals/materials from the market (as in EVE) and put BPOs in to manufacture suits/wepaons and sell them on the market it allows new players to spend a little real money and buy a BPO and as they progress they can manufacture the items from their earnings so they can either use them when they skill into them or sell them on the market for isk.
Corporations could provide cheap fully ready suits to new players as incentives to join, just as the corps in eve do with frigates ect. the player market and manufacturing element would make DUST/Legion far more interactive and less of a grind for new players if they could earn a bit of semi passive isk by manufacturing and selling items.
If the BPOs we have now are turned into the typical BPO we know and love in new Eden and we have to build consumable items from them it reassures players that buying them would be a good investment if they intend on playing Legion because they will have BPOs ready for manufacturing and that from the get-go there is a good portion of the players who can start manufacturing for the player market and creating a good economy

@Maken. yeah i had a similar idea as the ship skin BPC's for the suits too. you buy say an 'Aliastra' Gallente Assault G-I BPO for 1000AUR but you have to 'apply' that skin to isk bought G-I suits
but the idea i was leaning towards is having players manufacture the suits and modules in Legion just as we do in EVE, there would still need to be NPC items but players could undercut the NPC prices to encourage players ot buy from them instead and eventually if/when the playerbase grew and more people bought BPOs CCP could ease back the amount of NPC supplied items. the same was done in EVE. certain modules still had NPC seeds up until a few years ago when everything went playerbased (apart from skillbooks, BPOs and trade items)

yeah i think us Second decade mystery code owners deserve a scout and commando BPO
also making the suits racial specific would be a great way of diversifying (am sure that a real word) and offering all 3 sets of all 4 suits in their racial models and i'd pretty much buy them all lol

thats cos Destiny beta on ps3 was as dull as an average day in DUST but we have a better skill cap

I don't think there will be any NPC-established prices in this case. In Eve Online, the vast majority of the commodities don't have any NPC sources such as the Orca, Rorqual, Titans, Capitals, etc.
yeah but it took a long while before the market became fully player driven in EVE. certain items were still available from NPC seeds until enough of the playerbase had the BPOs to meet supply. i think they'd have to do a similar thing in Legion if they went the BPO for AUR route and they want a real economy, at least for the first year, they'd have to have a small portion NPC supplied depending on the size of the playerbase and how many of that playerbase was manufacturing. it'd be an interesting F2P model for Legion but i think it'd work well because new payers could still earn a good amount of isk by manufacturing and help balance out the difference between new payers and vets and allow the BPOs to be sold for isk/traded as a standard item a new player could buy a nice BPO for AUR and get a fat chunk of Isk by selling it and it elimanates the Isk sellers in the same way PLEX's did for EVE

dunno about anyone else but having a Quafe Gallente set would be pretty sweet. i can't be the only one wants to see a pink gallente sentinel running round (with matching HMG?)
p.s change the bloody Quafe assault to Gallente while you're at it too!!

As i continue some of use got trolled or spread our skills but for $20.00 max to $10.00 min I would pay for a full respec even corporations to get into my role specific stuff even if its frowned upon ;p but to stay on topic please vote for either sver bpo camo or valor those two are the best in my opinion. but you as the community hopefully will make a solid choice some of us have the raven suit bpo lol but valor and sver that's cool. Thank you GM Scotsman for helping me out today & I used your Suit Flying Scotsman ck.0 for a tourney today thank you again man i hope I provided the info you needed to fix the bug thanks again had to put you on the spot for being helpful thanks! Logi bro, thank you for dealing with the offensive comments and just being cool like Scotsman, we @ ICE-9 are grateful that there are people Do care! Thanks you two! please vote for either sver or valor !
i think they were 17,000AUR when they were originally on market. the Eon/Fossil/Primordial/Thale militia were 6,000AUR i think but they may have been introductory prices.

yup AUR unfortunatly. and if i remember rightly a lot of it too. i think the individual suits were 20,000+ AUR each but it was a loooong time ago since they popped up on the market last.
also i want the original colour schemes back cammo just looks cheap and lazy imo

I remember Raven Cal Assault, Sever Min Logi and Valor Gal Scout but the rest are made up.
Rather have a racial colour EG
Raven=Caldari, then Apply colour scheme to ALL Cal suits. Sever=Minmatar Valor=Gallente ?=Amarr.... Skinweave? ( ;) )
Also like to see the AU suits like the 'Anasoma' and 'Colossus' sentinel variants etc. from... chromosome?? or earlier maybe. I don't remember seeing the colours although they were mentioned in the description.
OH and i'd like a dren too.
If they were cheap. I probs wont spend much more real money on this game ;)
Amarr they could bring out a 'Sarum' range as a tribute to the Empress who obtained the implant and made the first Templars, make them Gold/Silver as opposed to the Gold/Red of the Templar sets.
Also adding a Templar Scout to the templar set (via mystery code) would be muchly appreciated

there are already rail and combat rifles BPOs. you just have to be caldari or minmatar and use the frontline suits

All existing weapon BPO's are STD and suits are split between MLT and STD. (Master recruiter is the only ADV BPO that I know of which should stay that way). I would hope these new suits are STD like the Dren or Templar. Master Recruiter isn't adv, it's a type-II suit.
yeah its STD suit just has 315...317? shield and 90 armor instead of 210 shield and 120 armor. with the new 3 hi slot layout you get about 700shields with skills and fittings

There is no economy. Let's add RL economy at least and get some std, ADV and proto bpos. TEARED prices. Win!. Lets not do proto bpos or advanced. That is excessive. 24/7 protostomp does not need to be a thing. But it would be TEARED. Not everyone could afford it.

if you read the original post they said they might bring them back. chances are it could be the weds after or even never, depends on if they have the stuff ready to update the market or not. the voting could be a way of determining if the playerbase wants to see a return of BPOs and by the looks of the lieks in the OP then i'd say its a pretty positive outcome and CCP should look at bringing different racial sets out (and changing the Quafe to Gallente!!)
