I am trying to recall Valor suits being a thing. I don't think I have any, because I don't even remember them existing. o_o

I'll def spend AUR on one of those - it would be nice to have the color scheme applied to other races - e.g. I want a Valor Min Scout.

BPO's sound like new content.

Also, if CCP can add BPO's, and if they can tweak numbers and paint schemes, who's to say they can't come up with new classes.

As far as I can tell, only maps are permanent. I'm so so so x1000 happy that BPO's are coming back...
but why only those colors? I would like a Scarlet and White Caldari Scout Suit.

Or a Caldari Assault with Cyan/ Teal highlights! Or the valentine suits I see every now and then in FW.

well, I was talking about new content in terms of having more choices on what to wear and use in battle.
So, grabbing a Caldari Scout and changing bonus from precision to range isn't adding new content. it's just tweaking already available content.

But giving us two Caldari Scouts, one with precision bonus, the other with range bonus, that equals new content... or at least to me it does.

So, since there are no BPO's right now, introduction of BPO's is new content. And CCP can follow suit with new suits (heh, pun) by adding new content in the form of already existing content (but with changed slots, stats etc) while keeping the old content in the market.

oh, ok. I see what you mean. Since the stats and slots are the same you don't consider them new content. While I consider different color schemes new content, I get what you're saying. Yeah, it's kind of a bummer there isn't a something besides color to differentiate them from their isk counterparts.

it would be nice if maybe they replenished shields a little differently, or maybe could run a little faster etc.

But before this, i didn't think CCP was able to add new stuff to the store. Now that I now they can, I'm excited to see what that means in terms of adding new content (based off of already existing content).

I'm not ponying up coin for Dropsuits I already have BPOs for.

So until the Minmatar, Gallente and Caldari FULL lineups, and the Amarr Scout join the party (And preferrably their weapons) I'll settle for watching everyone else get the neat paintjobs.

I see no point in having more than 1 Sentinel A-I, Assault C-I, Scout G-I or Logistics M-I BPO

put out the others and i might have a reason to drop a point or two into the other frames. As it stands none of the Sever, Raven or Valor suits can be used without skilling into them anyway.

And the weapons. All the STD weapons

Add an Amarr Assault A-1 BPO to any of those color schemes and you have my vote and my money. Guaranteed there's others who would grab at that too.

EDIT: Especially if it's a SEVER Amarr A-1. Then you definitely have my money.

The price for other std bpos was like 17,000 Aurum so I assume it will be the same

Valor suits were originally just the gallante scout Type 1 or 2 reskinned.

Templar suits look meh to me. Kinda bland and the colors are just......bleh.
