So I was toying around with my min scout and threw on a militia armour plate for lolz, and I feel so dirty because it works sooooo well... I got 85 more hp, bringing me close to 400 ehp, at the cost of 0.25 m/s, which is basically pocket change, and is hardly noticeable. The next match I went 17/0. I hate to say it, but I'm going to use an armour plate on my min scout from now on, at least until I see how much of a hp buff the min scout will be getting in Delta. Does anyone else do this?
Well, I once meleed an R.E....
I've only ever known 1.8...

You shouldn't feel the way you do. Minmatar aren't shield tankers. They're dual.
Anyways, nah. I don't use plates on scouts, otherwise, I'd run assault. On my Minmatar, I use kincats. |

You might as well toss an ADV plate on there. Same PG/CPU requirements as the militia plates, and only 1% more penalty.

Sorry but never. On the Minja ALT I'd rather lose a tooth than not use Bionics and Damps in my lows.
However my Logi ALT pre-Charlie had the opposite epiphany. I took off the complex plate and went complex ferroscale to squeeze out some badly needed speed. But your move makes me wonder if a switch to a low tier plate with low movement penalties would increase the cost/fitting savings and gain 8+ extra armor. I'm always interest in ways of getting better equipment on that Toon.
I have a lot of respect for Classic Logis. New Eden could use more Healers.
