I didn't see The magsec mentioned anywhere in the narrative. That concerns me because the magsec needs a slight buff too. I'm not talking about a damage or range buff. Keep those as is. The magsec needs less dispersion and kick. Even with the operation skill the kick is still massive(or at least it feels that way). It has way too much dispersion, scouts can out strafe a magsec's bullets with ease

I think he just wrote some of the ideas for some of the sidearms in the Delta narrative, besides Ratatati said that Delta would be focused on re-balancing all the sidearms that are currently in the game, I doubt they will leave out the Magsec...

Magsec smg= should have a higher dps than a sub machine gun as it has to charge before shooting.

I had heard somewhere that its operation skill (kick reduction) wasn't applying properly, honestly I don't mind the kick as a balancing factor to its use.

If the Caldari Assault gave a bonus to reduced kick for rail weaponry, I think I would skill into the magsec lol

If Cal Reload and Gal dispersion were flipped. . . I'd probably be more likely to run racial rifles on my Assault suits. lol

magsec is meant to be long range like the rail rifle. therefore it shouldn't excel at CQC and if you bought it for that purpose you're... not too perceptive. read the weapon description next time you look at it

The iron sights absolutely blow for a ranged sidearm. It's needs a scope, something similar to the smg would be awesome.

Actually it's meant to be medium range....it's optimal is like 50 meters....
