I'm sorry, but I grew up in the era before they started handing out trophies for just showing up. We had to earn the trophies. You didn't when , guess what? The only thing you got was pizza after the game. The lamest excuse I get during my DI inspired motivation speech's is "It's just a game." **** like this is why I keep my voice chat setting turned off in just about every game I play
I don't mind it when people actually give good call outs, "There's a Thales on the red side of A" or "Python over C" but it's when players start barking bad orders that it bothers me. "******* we need to take A, will you guys quit being pieces of **** and help with that." Attitude aside, I may not want to help that guy because 8 reds are camping A and we are better off capping C, D, and B and destroying their MCC, but nope instead we throw stupid amounts of clones at the well fortified A and lose to clone out.
Back when I was in a corp and also part of the reason I left the corp, we had an "Officer" who told us to back off of A, because we couldn't take the objective and we can win by out ranging them. Which is all fine and dandy but this was on Domination, and without A we would lose, period. We had no shields and we were at 80 and they were at 100.
TL;DR: Team comms can be useful, a big CAN, but generally never are. Usually its either someone blasting their music or TV into the mic or its someone who fancies themselves a regular Patton barking stupid plans that just end up causing us to lose even worse. |

Does that game get good? I played through the tutorial but I haven't actually tried the main game, the whole fuel thing being needed to play the game through me off of it. I get it, that it's their form of monetization but if I wanted to play candy crush i'd play candy crush. |
