i agree with you base point, but i would rather they strike them middle like bugie does where they show us finished bits or just show us stuff been worked on.
to be honest all i want from them is something like this http://www.failbettergames.com/sunlesssearoadmap/
as long as can see they have some kind of end goal and clear mark posts to reach it i can leave with them changing plan as long as its for a good reason, this constant burn over of ideas that they normally do, wont lead to a good enough product for legion to hit the mass of players it needs for its core ideas to work

Managers think assets and rigging and everything else can be done overnight. Thier leads tell them it's unrealistic expectations to have the timelines they've set out. Managers don't care.
So, from what I can see is this; Valkerie is behind. It's so behind that it won't launch with the Rift/Morpheus. Sony and Facebook are big clients and this is CCPs second chance with the biggest provider for next gen gaming and VR headsets. They are moving all resources besides EVE to finish Valkerie.
Hence the quiet. No ones here, and Legion is on hiatus.
Got to agree if i was ccp i would ditch legion and instead focuse on my money maker but i would least tell my communty whats up. Ccp is a dino these days i dont think they ha e whst it take anymore, elitle and star cit are also going to start eatting into there once safe marker

Riley they said that about dust for like 6 months, IWS even told me new guns and maps where coming, and just said wait till fanfest and then we all know how that went.
i dont trust the word a CPM says as CCP could just bullshit to them as well the CPM are just focuse testers they dont no anymore than we do, until i here offical news source the CPM are just white noise.

tbh iv seen no signs CCP has learned any lessons yet more people have quit (cant find the site that shows the company reviews but its been posted a few times) tbh i think CCP is in denial that they can somehow save the company by doing the same thing under the false idea they just made a bad choice with WoD and that its the PS3 fault dust didnt work.
rather than it been a management fuckup for both games failing. have we acuttaly seen any indication CCP is ontop of things all we have is on video and few token posts iv not acutely seen anything that could count as progress

If that doesn't force CCP to learn its lesson, I don't know what can. But yes, management screw ups on their part did play a big role.
I get yeh point but iv seen many companies of all sizes circle the drain because on the inside they just won't admit where problems are and blame the workforce instead. normal in publicly listed companies the board would have forced officer change by this point but i dont ccp is listed or if it is the stake holders have a conflict of intrest and thus management are not held to account and thus nothing changes.
Now I'm holding out hope this is not the case but i simple lying point to thq as an example of a gaming company that kept getting it wrong EA is also in that risk area but they get it right enough to recover.
Either way ccp makes a great case study and i hope things have changed and none comms is more a case of a directive not to say anything at all to avoid more reputation damage.
Which is acknowledged a problem and taking the wrong action but it's better than missing the issue all together.

If the make legion a sub within eve that would be best move in encourages all sides to play both games and if legion becomes a hit it will increase eves and legions bugets' also paired release cycles could be done to stop staff stealing as both games would need to be ready
