We serve an higher calling, the desire to see unity of the whole before the satisfaction of the self. No wonder you and the Caldari are friends. if you had not rebelled like spoiled children you may have gotten a proper education and came to realize the truth of the the Amarr. Instead you chose to wallow in the mire of ignorance... No matter, you will be dealt with soon enough.

See this is the kind of arrogance one can expect from a Templar. The condescending tone, the almost mock statement. Also the use of boring words used by that ancient looking school teacher you swear was a vampire! And to top it all off, empty threats!
You need to realize that you are just a servant at this time to a greater power and must be humble towards your superiors AND your enemies in order to gain their respect. Respect is power, an ever greater power than fear or freedom, or even ISK. Right now you do not have my respect, nor do I think I will ever come to respect you. Then again at this point the only Templar I respect is True.
To the OP, I understand what you are trying to say (or at least I think I do) and some Caldari chick said it before too, all of our nations have dirty laundry. Let's just leave it at that.
Your first mistake is assuming that I desire the respect of anyone. I know my role, and it is that of a simple cog in the machinations of my Empress. Also, to think that power does not beget respect is naive at best and willfully ignorant at worst. However, I understand that words will not sway you, but perhaps when I step over your smoking corpse to continue my crusade you will understand.

Pride is not the way of the Amarr. Arrogance is not their way either. But we are not all perfect. Just because the Amarr show others the way. Doesn't mean from time to time we don't stop to remind our brothers of their own faults and show them their own folly. In fact striving for perfection is folly in itself. Unless undertaken for the purpose of improving oneself to show others you can always improve, not to hold one above another.
If you have no pride in what you do how can you possibly perform the duties required of you? To lack pride in your faith is the stepping stone to losing your faith and becoming a degenerate heretic no better then the heathens I put down like sick dogs...
