I'm done as well. All seven of the anti-respec dudes can keep discussing it's merits in a year when they are playing each other battle after battle.

It's weird which things you hold on to that CCP says and which ones you don't.

They have no plans to shut Dust down. It just won't get developed in the way we all thought it would. We are stuck with hotfixes.

The only reason Dust will still be active in a year is if the same servers are being used for Legion. With all the cuts in personel, (SF, ATL in the US, others overseas) keeping these servers active would be a waste of money. No, they haven't outright said that they are shutting them down, but it would make business sense.

OP orignally wanted a respec cause HE personally skilled into 4 assaults and somehow assumed he would be versatile 2. Thor some how thinks that respecs will attract new players . Not marketing or proper gamedesign implementation and ingenuity will attract playerbase (CCP has clearly failed on both). Not thinking it will only already benefit ESTABLISHED players. He somehow forgets that players that left and were disenfranchised with the game will get an epiphany and return to a game on its eleventh hour, with CCP clearly trying to restructure. With SF just being closed and two CCP execs leaving. Good business practice is to reconsolidate and focus on your main source of cash inflow SIR !!!! i.e. DUST 514 is a subsidary of EVE.So guess who gets the cut when things are going poorly in EVE and with product that has already clearly failed as so said by you know people with business degrees..
