It's a tricky one, and I'm not sure what the fix to Min Scouts could be.. I use it as my primary suit because I'm one of the idiots here that enjoys challenging gameplay
Like Ghost states.. all of the other scouts fit better than a Matari Scout.. We have the hack bonus and the knife bonus both useful but when a 200k suit is one shotted everytime It gets pretty tiring trying to compete with 400+ shield cal scouts, then 400+ Armour Scouts.. Thats my main issue the others out tank it by a 100 hp too easily, leaving the poor slaves behind
CCP, I'm not asking for buffs to Mk.0... I want you to balance scouts for all races The Matari is weakest, low HP and not worth a thing if you tank it... A scout having 500 ehp should be max tank.. allowing Cal to exceed 600 via dual tanking And the Amarr or Gal can make the Cal look weak in comparison, it's not healthy for the game Sadly, the best option for a Min Scout, is to spec into another scout ... QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ As anything we can do they can do better, Knife bonus LOL dat scannable Scout with knives is EPIC! The knives are good, but don't mean much when you spend a round fighting shotgunners who can scan down your every move and drop you from about 10 meters away from your knives...
CCP, allowing the players to play how they want is fine, but most just abuse that Its long overdue that light suits became light suits and the lite-slayers can go abuse the next suit

Note : The Mk.0 base speed makes it ideal for stomping the primitive public battles In PC where the teams are co-ordinating and holding down defence the Min Scout fails In comparison to the other 3.. like when being asked to ring for a PC battlle, they need a Scout
The Minja X's up, the team he's stepping into all cringe and quickly PM real scouts to get **** done As the MinScout can't provide the required E-war or slaying power to match the other scouts

Matar have hack, speed, and if needed it can damp. Add to that OHK NK strikes. Gal with codebreaker and kincat have no regen. Caldari is killed as easy as matar. 400shields is still 1 charged ScR shoot.
It has it's uses as I said in my first post, I just feel that all scouts should be brought down to 500hp (max) Rather than the Slayer fits that are used often.. The Gal Scout defeats the Matari too easily.. Any fit a Matari can make the gal can equal if not beat it, in terms of (hack/speed/HP) the only bonus is that the Min can knife which is good but your up against Sentinel/Shotgun spam so knives aren't going to win many engagements like that, as I said I am lost as how to 'fix' scouts..
The Cal is not what it was but certainly a more viable combat fit that the Matari Speed is good but in scouting in PC Ewar is better...
hence my Mk.0 running 3 damps on anything other than run like a mofo link fits
