Ive tried CCP, ive tried so hard to make this suit in any way competitive.
it just simply doesnt have the PG to compete with any other scout suit even in its own nieche roles!
gallente scouts are better hackers being able to obtain VERY similar hacking speeds while retaining nearly double the HP while doing so!
now that novaknives finally work the extra damage from the min scout bonus end up overkill in almost every single situation.
its just a terrible suit... and nothing i can do can redeem it ive tried nearly every combination of modules and builds i can think of but every other scout simply out performs in every way for every role.
im just very very very disapointed

Ran out of ammo on the HMG, because little bastards move to fast to track, and he comes running up to me with knives, and I finally got the satisfaction of killing him by punching his ass to death. Then promptly ate a drive-by from his buddy (the one time) That was the most satisfying melee kill I have ever had.
if you think thats bad imagin what i would of been like running at 1m more a second with twice the HP WITH F45/remote explosives to boot!!!!! because thats the difference between the minmatar and the gallente proto scouts.
me and snuggles were dieing laughing when he rolled over you right after, the only thing i could manage to say was "worth it" and then i couldnt stop laughing for a bit
yes i actually moved you into position for the driveby

Throw in a precision mods and 1 shield extender and it shouldn't be awful. I've seen you kick ass with it, hacking and mirdering the crap outta people on a point.
yes i can do devistating things with my scout suit
but im handycapped in every way while i do so. when im up against other top tier players it just isnt up to snuff and every other suit suit out performs it by such a wide margin that its not even funny.
gallente is a better hacker because it can achieve the same hacking speeds with more HP and more EWAR simultaniously so even in a competitive game where my goal would be hacking focused the gal scout would perform better.
everything the minmatar scout can do, every other scout does better.
in short ive been handycapping myself all this time... im ******* specing gallente

I can't believe it connected.

high scores in a pub match dont make something overpowered or not... i can get high scores with a damn frontline fit in the right games

i dont have any points in any dropsuits that arnt minmatar as of right now.
im changing that with this event SP because the minmatar suits are holding me back

Matar scout is now in good spot. With damps and cloak it can go under 15db scans ans still hack thing in few seconds.
the problem is that both amaar and gallente are better at hacking then the matari scout....
with gallente coming out on top due to being able to avoid scans while keeping a high hacking speed, and amaar being good for detecting aproching threats while hacking AND maintaining a good hacking speed.
the difference in hacking speed between the matari scout and teh other scouts is only equivilant to a single complex hack mod, and after 2 modules the added effect is minmal anyways, so a gallente scout with 3 hack modules a damp and 2 complex shields is not only more survivable and more hidden from scans, but it also has the same hacking speed as a 1x damp hack matari scout while maintaining more HP and a lower DB
the amaar scout is similar in that i can achieve the same hacking result trading some dampening for more precision alowing it to see aproching threats more easily while hacking at the same speed as the martari scout if it carries 3x hack mods 1 dmp and 2 extenders, ALSO while having more HP then the matari scout.

im just very very very disapointed Stop trying to take the city by storm. Minmatar scout is hands down the best suit for attacking homepoint. I main a Minmatar scout and handle myself well in PC, try this suit for attacking Homepoint Min Scout MK.01x Complex Shield 1x Enhanced Shield 1x Basic Shield (It's the most efficient way to get shields for PG) Six Kin ACR Proto Knives N-11/A Flux Links Proto Cloak Basic Flux 1x Complex Codebreaker 2x Complex Dampener Set down links outside of objective, sneak in with dampening. Kill target with Knives, cap objective super fast and DEFEND. You are faster than the 2x Codebreaker Gal Scout, and also have more regen due to your main tank. Knives are great for assassinations and the better strafe makes you great at range with the ACR. It works, trust me.
thats my old PC build the only difference was that i run 3 enhanced shields for an extra 1.1 shields :P for 3 less PG and i run c7 fluxes for that little bit of extra range :P
it is indeed the closest thing i ever got to a viable fit.
