Well, I have to be done with Dust a little sooner than planned, due to a broken controller.
On top of that, I'm shipping to basic training next week, so I plan to be back to Dust/Legion when I get back from AIT in mid-march.
This is not one of those pissy "dis r dum i kwit" threads: from the day I joined 2 years ago until now, I ******* love Dust, and have the utmost faith in CCP.
Dust has been and still is very fun (I also suggest teaming up with an eve player to make FW twice as interesting, such as when my OB support chased off the enemy OB support, then had to run when they came back with friends) and it has a very cool community (except the neckbeards in PC)

I personally like to just go buy psn cards at the store, PSN seems to always have problems processing debit/credit cards, not to mention the shady storage of information in the past.

It's probably because you would be in the perfect position during war time to access and divulge information to the enemy about troop positions etc.
Good luck out there, and watch out. Know a guy that was a mechanic and had a mortar go off 10 yards from him. You may not be a front line soldier, but a lot of the wars and conflicts that the US are fighting these days have unconventional tactics from unconventional combatants. |

Nope the congressional hearing into detecting asteriod strikes essentially stated that the military is looking down at the Earth... In dust do you need an overview map of the stars?
And even NASA isn't tracking the killer asteroids. It's a small non for profit organization that is doing that.

This is good advice. i wish I'd have had the cash to do passive boosters for the entire time that i was deployed. I was gone for over 6 months, and missed out on over 3 million SP.  My buddy even took his PS3 with him back to his home of record when he got medsep'ed for his legs, so I had to buy my own PS3 just so I could play DUST when I got home. It's still the only video game I've played since I got back. I just wish I could've come home to more than 7 million unallocated SP, especially since a good million of that was from the dropsuit tree refund.
Ah well. If you find any extra boosters laying around, Rattati, I'd be glad to take em off of your hands. Lol  |

I was an 11B in the Big Red 1 a few years back before I was medically discharged and moved back to NZ. Bit of advice for you: Drill Sergeants are just trying to break you down to build you up, do not resist this process. Also if you DS tells you to be there at 0630, you be there no later than 0600. And what ever you do, don't fuck over your battle buddy or you will be in the shit!

do i get to keep all my bpos and boosters 4 legion? if so im playing it day 1 i have gaming rig capable of 4k and a 3d tv (fingers crossed legion is 3d compatible) wouldnt mint isk but dont bother... cant say id smile if the 700$ i spent on dust didnt count legion

Dust has been and still is very fun (I also suggest teaming up with an eve player to make FW twice as interesting, such as when my OB support chased off the enemy OB support, then had to run when they came back with friends) and it has a very cool community (except the neckbeards in PC)
