Clip Size is an irrelevant stat. You could have a 1,000 round clip, but it wouldn't matter if your DPS isn't up to par.

Actually, it kinda is. I would rather have a 60 shot AR instead of a 1 shot AR.

No, it's not.
Because on the other hand, there is a ridiculously short clip. The ion pistol gets 600 damage per clip.
It's restrictive. It's not 'irrelevant'.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.
