You bring up a couple of good points, as a KBM player ive never really have had the luxury of using Melee & Grenades properly, and the equip weapon "no fire for you" has gotten me killed more then i can count, its why i always have just the locust grenade equipped, can't properly prime & time it when you need the same finger to strafe. So never got any good grenading done like King Babar on here.
Around when Uprising hit i ordered an Eagle Eye because you could not aim anymore in this game it was like derpy derp got hold of your mouse when you tried to line one up and i was too addicted to the game. There are allot of posts from me around that time with settings etc, but i could never make it work well without making it feel like i was aiming with pixels instead of any smooth movement, i took a break back then until they fixed their issues with KBM (few weeks) and the thing has been collecting Dust in my closet, i spend a couple of days trying to make it work, till i gave up and i didn't feel like getting another one.
Reading this, I should take it back out and try a spin with it, just to see how different the Bullet Magnetizing effect is with the aim-assist as ive not really had any issues hitting or killing people without it, but i did notice in subsequent patches where the assist got adjusted that people would literally lock onto me and kill me, this effect has gone down considerable as patches came and went.
What are your settings that made you able to use it without a granular feel? It made for me aiming med to long distance with it impossible, though for me it just might not be compatible with my Razor Naga Mouse and looking at the website, the thing has not seen any updates since i aquired it.

Quote:I'm running a rat 7, I don't snipe much but you can usually tone the dead zone down to be good enough for most shooting. You'll still run into that awkward just one pixel off situation where trying to adjusted it sends you over 2 pixels. I probably spent a good 2-4 hours playing with the settings till i got something useable and just powered through it for a while until my hands learned to deal with the flaws. I've got my nades and melee tied to mouse now so I can just focus on movement.
Ive had a Rat 7 before i bought my naga, but i am a low sensitivity player to do a 180 turn, i need to use my full mousemat (Razor Sphex x2) and my model Rat 7 needed 1 second to recalibrate when you picked it up and put it down again.
If its still doing that 2 pixel thing when you want to move only 1, then even with your settings, i couldn't get used to it even if i tried and if i did it would ruin my muscle memory, not worth it.
Quote: Still its a lot of max all the sensitivities minimize all the dead zones and crank up that mouse iso, and let the magnetism deal with the finer points of hipfiring.
The magnetism makes a world of difference on the eagle eye, I wasn't terribly impressed with it (it amusingly works better on other games because dust is so wonky) until I swapped back on aim assist and started to let dust do the work for me.
I would just like to trial run it, see how it affect me or others that have used it, not run it 24/7, personally i would feel bad using it and my aim is still good enough to get by without it.
Guess it continues to collect Dust in my closest then :p

Should I be taking offence at this o.O?
LOL, purely coincidental man, i swear, if you didn't have all those likes idd think you made one to stalk my post :p
Quote:your mileage may vary but even with the sensitivities and ISO maxed out and on the higher side of the eagle eye calibrations, its still a pretty slow rotational speed, my g5 back in chrome would do these amazing 180's with a slight flick, my rat does quite a bit of traveling on an extra large mouse pad.
I'd give it a go there's trades but hell you paid for it so might as entertain yourself for an evening.
Ill give it a testrun when i got some time, just really wanna know how the aim-assist/magnet has worked against me all this time, cuzz ive run scores of 87/5, 73/3 but mostly within 30-50/x etc...
Destiny is just around the corner anyways so i doubt ill get much Dust time till Legion hits on the PC, got my PS4 with Venom X sitting pretty, but already tried the Aim Assist in Blacklight and turned it off, it messes up my aim.
