Dropships and future arial vehicles for Dust 514 and Legion need to be better categorized CCP. Depending on the modules you equip on your dropship should decide what type of role you have in the air. I doubt that this will be extensive as most will want it to be in Dust, but I feel this can be achievable in Project Legion, where perhaps we will see more variants of HAV's, LAV's, MAV's, Logistics Dropships, Assault Dropships, Bomber Dropship, and Fighters. What Dust/Legion can be achieve with modules for arial vehicles can make it where Uprising 1.7 was planning to head towards. Faster speed modules, acceleration, heavy air to air damage modules is something to keep in mind when it deals with Air-to-Air. For Air-to-Ground better armor/shielding to handle damage received from enemies on the ground. This could penalize the dropship with poor acceleration, penalizes the use of speed modules when equipped with heavier armor and shields drastically. Multirole would be best mixture of the two. It would have better acceleration, better use of speed modules, than Air-to-Ground when equipped with less armor/shielding.

And you forget the most important thing: Pilot Suits.
Imho, pilot suits should be the only ones that enable a merc to use a tank and/or a dropship, why?
Because yesterday i was on a match and this dude in a dropship comes and kills me, i was logi, me and my pals where in the top of a silo, so when i respawn i do with a heavy suit plus forge gun, he takes the first shot, so he quickly lands and kills me with a burst heavy machine gun...
