Got it for the VITA - they released it West last week with Tales of Xillia 2- which i also bought. *PS3*
Game is amazing btw :3 It's basically SAO the way it should of always been, not this second season crap.

it's actually a ton like it. The battle system is definitely a spiritual successor with more to it.
Plus, the story continues as if they never beat the last boss early - NO ELVES :O
And you can make a harem :)

Sony has really upped how many games they're porting over - Tales of Hearts R is even being ported to VITA :O

HOW NAMCO TALES STUDIO...HOW CAN THIS BE...... after the original Tales of Symphonia.......why were any more needed? You realize each Tales game is different, right?
Only exception is Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the new world, and Tales of Xillia 2. Both would be considered expansions of the original.
Tales of Zesteria comes next year <3 Tales of Hearts R releases on VITA sometime soon.

It's not Tales, and it is repetitive, but there's plenty of customization.
It's definitely a game for fans, but it's good enough for first timers.

mainly because beyond the main progression, there's a side world with it's own progression, so you can just power up over there and man-handle the main story.
But it's still all very pleasing. Especially Asuna <3
