I started my new job at Coca Cola and I haven't had much time to play and I was just wondering how all the fixes are going and how the new CPMs are working out. I forgot to vote in the elections and I have just now started logging into EvE again and I was just contemplating logging into DUST when I get home.
Has anything improved? I haven't even been logging into the forums and reading what has been going on. I have probably only played 3-5 matched since Fanfest. I see some of the usual names here but nothing special pops out at me.
EvE is kind of slow now and I figured DUST is the same way. I have been keeping up on the usual list of EvE podcasts so I know what is going on in space but the the ground war has been silent for a while now. I am in IRC now but no one is chatting, I need to check the district map to see who is doing all the PC holding.

Game's pretty boring. I only play like a match or two per day if I'm up for it. I just do it for the daily SP.
I'm thinking of starting an EvE account. Is it fun?
Also, how's Coca-Cola treating ya? |

21 days and I will give you the plex if you pay for a month.
I enjoy EVE but it isn't for everyone. If you are good at making friends and finding a group that you like then it can be really fun. The game doesn't give you anything to do so you have to do it all on your own. It is like DUST but way more open, vast and complicated. If you decide to sign up then shoot a mail to Burl en Daire and I can get with you about that plex.

Hi and grats on the new job.
Overall in terms of politics it has gotten boring; the power vacumme combined with neutering of PC passive isk has seriously cut down on that drama.
Hotfixes have so far been wonderful especially when the community gets involved.
CCP Rattati was not kidding when he said he had a shopping list of things he'd like to fix on dust 514's via hotfixes and so far you can check the development interaction on the hotfixes here.
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=topics&f=1775
Hotfix Delta will be next in line and right now its in planning phases mostly with subjects being picked out and explorations on what can and can't be done still ongoing. Hotfix Delta may be one of the larger hotfixes to date if the entire list gets explored.
In summary the game is more balanced than it has ever been and these rapid iterations are returning a larger variety to things getting killed and things doing the killing. There are still some low and high points but they're being tackled as they're found.
Keep an eye out delta updates.

Thanks.
I guess I need to get logged in and do some repping. I hope my Min logi with maxed skills and a really big tool hasn't been changed too much. Too bad we have such low numbers, I was really hoping that DUST would pull a big crowd for a long time because variety is the spice of life but I guess I will just have to be content with what we have. I need to join a corporation and get into some team coms.

The check is in the mail.
By the way, you have won the New Eden lottery and all you have to do is pay the tax on the 10,000,000,000 ISK prize for the interstellar funds transfer!

Don't worry about this place, it's just as enjoyable as it's ever been. You just go back to work & make more of that delicious coca cola.

30 cans a second of Coke and 40 bottles of Powerade a second. Not to shabby for a bunch of rednecks in Chattanooga TN.
Drink More Coke and Coke products!!!
Most recognized symbol in the world is the cross, the second is the Coca Cola bottle shape. It's that good.
