Many, many players get irate when you lose and they immediately see it as validation that they knew better. The ringing situation and the entry barrier to PC really killed the game mode early after it's release. The lack of a team deploy UI and the lack of a low stakes team deploy really makes it even tougher. If it had involved more players and CCP would have pushed the team aspect of Dust it would be thriving instead of this. More players would see that things aren't nearly as unbalanced as they think when you can control more of the factors in the equation. It truly is a shame that more players aren't involved. It is awesome when your team is really clicking and/or you take down someone you may have worried about or defended that district with a severe lack of clones. It's just like the solo player never experiencing solid squad play. PC is something that people should strive for. It is just really, really difficult to get down. I don't think we were proficient in getting out of our spawn until 3 or 4 months ago. We'd always have some little hiccup or the other team would just flat beat us into the city. I'll say it again, it's a damn shame more people don't strive for it. It's ******* awesome I understand that but most of the pc's I went into was filled with ringers. What's the point of having a district if you hire other people to fight your battles? Scr and commando enthusiast. A commando is not just a suit, but a way of life... The bridge there is so cramped that you were forced to enter in 1 by 1, which made things very easy for our Heavies. Though it should also be noted that those heavies in the city had next to no Logi support, which is a no-no. When you realized we were all near F-11/12, you should've gone around to O-10/11 and then captured Charlie. This would've allowed you to flank us from both sides, and capture Alpha. Since we didn't have Bravo at the time, we would've been pushed out of the city. If I had to give you another tip, it'd be that REs are your friend. Most players try to hack an objective as quickly as possible, so they don't bother with fluxing before hacking. This would've gotten a kill, and bought you some time before someone else goes for the hack. Not to mention that a few well placed REs would've devastated our Sentinel support. Though your situation reminds me of my very first match against FA. Nothing but Sentinels with Logis glued to them and Scouts with Duvolle SGs running amok. Though luckily I managed to focus at the end and managed to even place 1st (we still got our teeth kicked in though). Stick with your team and only spawn in places which you are 100% sure is safe and you'll cut your deaths in half. That, and always have scans. Even if you don't scan the Scout nearby, you'll know it's coming because of the "Some Margin of Error" message. Hope it helps. I appreciate the advice...ill be sure to think about that. Also, no lol, I'm not 12, I'm still young though, 16. I know it looks like a contradiction but my intention was not to contradict. I said I didn't do well because I see going positive as doing well.
