who enjoys queing for ambush against the top tier proto stompers?
i quite enjoy building counter fits and coming up with ways to outplay entire squads of the buggers
in all honesty its quite easy to compete with them if you bring an entire squad and have everyone build counterfits to the common stratagies as you go along throughout the day and even as a solo player i find that im able to compete.
am i that alone in enjoying fighting against people who use good dropsuit builds and proper tactics?

K/D(r) matchmaking fixes the whole game. Red line snipers and tankers hate it.

I quite enjoy skirmishing with them. I don't mean the gamemode, I mean in a tactical sense. It's fun to skirt the edges and pick the terribads off. For all the protostompy squad goodness that a lot of these people bring, they're still awful when confronted 1v1 against something with equal tier gear.

thats what ive been doing, playing the edges and flanking to pick them off in 1v1s, im having issues with the scrambler rifle super strafe scouts at the moment however and cant find a reasonable build to counter outside of mimiking the same setup and hoping to beat them at their own game.

its not really that hard... if you come across niyan san doing something that wrecks you, build a counter fit and the next time you see them that day pull it out for some laughs and turn the tide against them.

I don't mind going against proto stompers. What bothers me is getting stuck on a team with maybe 2-3 other people that actually know what they are doing or being the only squad that actually does something while the rest of the team is filled with people that seem to have put their controller on auto-pilot while they go jack off.

I prefer an uphill battle.
I could run Proto 24/7, but it's not as satisfactory as seeing "gud" Proto players fall to my Advanced and BPO gear.
I don't always blap Infantry with a Forge Gun, but when I do, that ** is hilarious.

ive also begun adding hundreds of people to my contacts list, and i check the player list before i spawn in every game to identify potential threats :P its a shame i cant add notes like i could when i played EvE however so i cant build any decent in game intel base.
All the really competitive players and squads are in ambush matches ive found, and its actually alot of fun running against them. Unfortunatly everyone i know despises having to fight against that kind of oposition because they either lack the skill or lack the love of competition.
Anywho if your an ambush warrior your going to be seeing alot more of me on the other team, i hope to have some interesting fights with you all.

This is pretty much what I do. If you're a pain in the ass to fight I'll add you as a contact and remember how you play. I've given up trying to load the contacts list now, I have so many I lag out. Think I have around about 250 at last check, from pretty much every alliance and and active corp that has or still is in the game.
Wherever you are.
I will find you.
And I will add you - and then remember how you play to slaughter you next time. 
I will be the only player to Prototype every single god damn weapon before Dust dies. 3 to go.

I enjoy fghting anyone in any match whilst solo. A squad is often not needed to combat even the most " protostompy" of protostompers.
All you need is good gun game, superb situational awareness, and let's not forget what's most important, a GalScout with the most OP setup you could fit.
That GalScout... freakin' thing is Dust's "all-purpose" suit. |

I play scouts normally but a basic logibro for ambushes when I get rotated into them.
I would enjoy it more if I could use BPOs... Since legion is coming out and the player market isn't why can't we get new BPOs?

I don't play ambush because i know the only spawn that won't have me killed in less than 2 seconds is initial spawn. I NEVER spawned on the winning side on Ambush. Ever. |

spawning blindly will result in death in abush yes, the key is to actually pay attention to the map in the spawn screan and spawn when and where it is smart to do so
