Whatever side winning doesn't really mean much when you couldn't pick which side you deployed on... Everyone deployed on opposite sides. And the real battle was in space, anyway.
Not sure why this is so terrible. DUST players got items for participating. EVE players didn't get items for a while because of server awkwardness. Now they've gotten them. Why is that relevant to DUST?
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Why is that relevant to DUST? We participated and they're acting like we don't exist. And actually it was a coordinated effort for the caldari to carry the ground game, with awoxing players on the gallente and team stacks on the caldari side.
You missed the point entirely.
This is an overdue EVE reward for their participation. You got a reward for your participation, but the live events team have only just gotten around to issuing these.
'Oh no, the capsuleers got a ribbon! We're being ignored even though we got given stuff too!'
And lol @ your idea of the ground game being 'carried' by the Caldari. There was no significant awoxing or team stacking - nobody had any control what team they were put on and there was no friendly fire. If you actually did manage a consistent, co-ordinated campaign while the Gallenteans did not you did horrendously, because that margin was wafer thin.
They're not acting like you don't exist. They're acknowledging the EVE players for their participation in the EVE side because they hadn't done it previously. The DUST players already got their rewards.

That coordinated protostomps on caldari vs token blues on gallente side is a "wafer-thin" margin? I would really like whatever drugs you're on because they're probably key to several breakthroughs in medicine(due to their strength)
Sorry. but gallente lost the ground battle handily. and that's being nice.
Hahahahaha, 'handily beaten'. It was a margin of about 5%.
And 'co-ordinated protostomps'? Were you actually there? Few people had proto gear two months in. I guess you're on quite a few of those drugs yourself. I won't pretend they have a medicinal use though, those must be quite hallucinogenic.

Quote: and the people who had proto gear at that point? pretty damn coordinated.
Except they weren't there. As I told you, get off those shrooms.

When people win matches by a margin of 5%, they go 'Oh damn, that was close'. Want to talk large scale? Even in large scale surveys with hundreds of points of data, a 5% margin is dismissed as insignificant. In a system where people couldn't even pick their sides, such a low margin is well within what would be expected statistically from evenly matched sides.
If you want an actual example of large scale stomping, look at the warzone now. You'll notice that the Federation holds well over twice the number of districts that the State do. That's 'stomping'.

Why, I couldn't have described the Caldari better myself.
Quote: You seem awful salty about losing the largest(and only, really) integrated story event in dust's short history.
Eh? Losing? In case you didn't notice, the Shiigeru went down, along with the entire supporting Caldari fleet as well as the supercapital backup sent in to try and bail them out. Luminaire's Caldari presence suddenly zeroed. That was one hell of a decisive Gallente victory.
You seem awfully upset about not getting a participation ribbon. Although you actually did get one, you probably just forgot about it.

Jacques Cayton II wrote:[ I remember there for awhile Caldari had 90% for like 2 months. Then armor became better than shields. Your trying to sound cool but the fact of the matter is most of the old Caldari players quit awhile back.
"then armor became better than shields" Completely irrelevant (and subjective, seeing as shields have almost always been a perfectly valid playstyle). If racial gear had a real effect, we could easily argue that the Caldari must have been truly awful to have not utterly dominated FW for a long, long time seeing as rail rifles were for a long time so much better than plasma rifles.
90% for 2 months? For two weeks, during an event where you got genuinely incentivised to play for the Caldari side.
The rest of the time it's been Gallente 95-100%, all day every day, for a year. Then a system was introduced which made it nigh on impossible to hold more than 75%, so the Gallente have been hovering at that ever since.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.
