Firstly, is that Hurricane for PvE or PvP? Either way, I strongly recommend you don't rush into it yet. You're absolutely right in hesitating before going in if you're new. You really, really need a solid skill base before larger ships become worth operating. And of course, it's more expensive.

IMO, mining isn't the greatest of ISK-making pastimes. If you add me as a contact - 'Arkenai Wyrnspire' and come over to Gallente space I can run you through some Security missions, which pay much better and help you out with standings and suchlike.

On the topic of 'small fighters'... Do you mean frigates?
Useful in combat? Hell yes! Frigates are a mainstay of PvP, and a huge amount of newbies go out to learn in them. I duel regularly in frigs and spend the majority of my time in them. A lot of people may think size is everything but there's a lot you can do with frigates.

Yeah i guess that is a bit much to be starting with and pvp yeah. That sounds cool yeah defo. I will do when im next on. Currently i have a day left on a skill and then ill get on. My eve char is Dr Techenstein Techsalt That is 100% how it is spelt. Hahaha, just looked at a frigate and forgot how small they are compared to the bigger ships lol, yeah those are the ones. You just made me realise that going straight for the big toys is not a good idea yet as well lol. Ill tell you now as well, im not interested in gate gangking or miner gangking, i have done the equivalent in many mmos going way back. I am interested in gangking and stuff but on a much higher level than simply pwning borderline defenseless ships. An honourable space pirate of sorts, if you will.
