I've saved up just about enough SP to skill into a new weapon.
After agonising for literally minutes.. it's between Laser Rifle and Sniper Rifle.
I already have AR and RR skilled up. I've got assault suit at proto and commando/scout at advanced.
LR or Sniper? what do you reckon...

Depends on play style.
Personally, I'd go with laser just for the fun of using one. You can get kills with an unskilled sniper rifle just as easily - well, just my experience.
I've never seen some many enemies run for cover when I start firing an ELM-7. |

Played with both milita versions - laser rifle far outstripped the sniper on fun factor and kills made. But something about the option of hanging back as a sniper comforts me when those mismatches come around (as they so often do!)

Until snipers get some serious love and fixing don't even bother with them. Lasers on the other hand are an incredibly enjoyable weapon and in skilled hands will stop *all* the other kids from crossing the street.

Laz0r rifle for sure. I run it all day everyday and once you get some sp into it, it becomes a monster. Best used in ambush or domination unless you have an organized squad for skirm. |

yeah i'd advise you to use the laser, if you go sniper you will instantly be dismissed as unskilled by the community.
and if you like sniping on any other game you will be disappointed. |

Laser to level 1 and you're golden. Just reload to get rid of the heat buildup. |
