Gotta love CCP logic - the warbarge isn't being used in pubs. Lets not make it more tactical by adding features like a working map so we can coordinate with the rest of the team.

maybe they could have different levels for different isk costs. the only problem i would face is not spending all my millions on them =(

Basics have more speed and eHP than logis with 1/2 (or less if you count equipment) the SP investment.
Use a logi suit,then you'll QQ about something valid. Basics aren't supposed to stand out,they're basic.
The specialists should have the best stats per class,not the basics.
The specialists should be so much better they make everyone want to skill out of basics.
INB4 give basics 2 equipment slots (NO!)

Actually AR is close range, CR is short-mid range, Rail is long range and SCR is mid-long. But every single one of these weapons are about equally effective at short range when hip firing or in a normal cqc fight because there is barely a difference in the hip firing accuracy.

you just proved my point... basics aren't meant for anything useful except skilling out of then have no real purpose, because of that they are a waste of SP. So either make them useful or get rid of them.
Your right they have more hp than a logi, but a logi has more slots, so by comparison a logi can get way more HP, you have bonuses to give you a role and purpose, and your suit is actually useful for something.

Yeah the rail rifle is stupidly easy to use at close range, give that bastard some recoil when not aiming... maybe do that for all weapons that are supposed to be weak at close range.
uplink lag is annoying as hell, just make them explode when placed within 10 meters of each other.
The vehicles and suits are fine... That cheap tank will drop like a fly to your teams av or another better tank... If your team doesn't have av or any of it's own vehicles, you're going to be at a disadvantage, would you bring a team without uplinks? or without a heavy to trololol all the narrow objectives? You can just stay in cover, also a cheap jeep can be invincible if driven correctly.
Pub payouts could use a fix, but not to allow people to profit from proto spammage... Just a simple if you get less than 500wp you get a max of 20k isk... Plus the proposed 0 wp from the redzone, would solve this problem. |

That little %5 reduction in kick shouldn't be making a high precision long ranged weapon insanely easy to use. It should be making it bearable to use. There's also the issue where the stronger rail rifle variants could pretty much kill players in nearly every suit way before they could react.... How does one defend/combat this? Not many ways.
The only suits functional for good gameplay are logistics and sentinels, so rent your meat shield today!

I use the Rail often and it's kick in ads is pretty spot on but it's hip fire kick barely has an effect in its performance, not only that but the spread is so tight it helps negate the kick even more.
This goes for all long range weapons. In reality these long age weapons should have the spread of an ion pistol or bigger. With the combat rifles spread a bit smaller than the ion pistol but larger than the AR.

Do you want to know what a gun with no recoil is? A gun with no recoil is not a gun, but a fantasy created by shameless gamers who are willing to use exploits in a game to get easy kills.
A person should be able to run away from an inaccurate player, but because of this It's like relying on luck when the giver of your luck is a beheaded chicken.

Long range guns such as the sniper rifle, rail rifle, scrambler rifle, etc. should have larger sway while strafing to make aiming more difficult in CQC. Guns with shorter ranges like the shotgun, plasma rifle, SMG, etc. should have less sway while strafing to be more viable in CQC than longer range guns. This would also make strafing mechanics a little more realistic.
Should probably ask if CCP currently has the resources to make a change like this.
