Dear OP.. the wild blueberry is a curious little creature but despite its newberry ness they have little to no fear and they do like to try.
i find that they do not have a clue about squad finder or are shy about it.. or even during a match pressing select and joining a squad with room so they can help the squad put their points to good use..
i feel that newberrys need to be more concentrated in the newberry corps as there are non if too few in each corp.. if they were more condensed they may find help and squads easier (See CAS in Eve) as not meny newberrys will know that there are helpful corps out there..
if CCP cannot condense newberrys into less corps instead of spreading them thinly perhaps add a default "Rookie Chat" channel and/or perhaps a mini tutorial on how to join a chat channel (rookie chat)
now as for actual squadding up.. maybe ccp should automatically put Pubbies/newberrys into squads of 4(leaving 2 places for people to move around) when they join a match.

Beastlina wrote:We have all heard complaints from corps and squads about random blues being useless and not wanting to help. They are looked down upon for lack of skill/stupidity. In general they really don't care about you or trying to win.
Now let's be honest with ourselves for a moment. Do you really give a rat's ass about blueberries? You never ever ever let them in your vehicles (this one is kind of understandable), many of you who run in squads will never revive someone who is not in your squad. I have been on alts and died next to a logi repping his squadmate sentinel while there was no hostiles anywhere near and rather than stopping for 2 seconds to revive me they will sit there repping the already full hp heavy as he stands there. I have also died with a bunch of people and they will revive everyone who died right around me because they are in a squad and literally leave me there......this one happens A LOT. I have even seen people say here on forums that they have the mindset that everyone outside their squad is garbage and they don't expect anything from them. Yet these are the same people who complain that they lost because of idiot blue's. If your not going give them any credit for a win then you can't give them ALL the credit for every loss.
All i'm saying is that if you want blue to give a damn you have to give a damn too. Maybe revive or cover them every once in a while. It's like we abuse them and ask for their help at the same time and wonder why they only play for themselves. They might not be in your squad but they are still on your team.
I cannot speak for everyone but i pick everyone up I can within reason exeptions your down thirty meters into an open field you shouldn't have been there you play the price no needle for you if your down and I'm not sure where the guy that killed you went I'm not sticking you for both of to be killed during the animation I'm sure I could name more but I believe you might understand that 50% of the time in a situation when you were downed there's more going on than just you try waiting it out maybe when there done fullfilling there obligation to there sqaud they will tend to you

Blueberries will sit in the drivers side of an LAV while its being shot at and there's no driver. I once had a blueberry mount the small turret on my LAV and then do nothing when I places his dumb ass right in front of the enemy. Then as I drive away he shoots at the buildings like a ******* idiot
I hate bluedots.

My problem with letting anyone not with me into my LAV is the fact that it takes them forever and they get in/out like 2-3 times and I have to sit there. In the 15-20 seconds it takes me to get the blueberries situated in the LAV, I could be on the other side of the map hacking the enemy's CRU or observing their movements to see if I can get away with dropping a nanohive and remote explosiving that sum'b!tch until its no more.
(Yes, it is me that continually blows up the CRU's in your games and hunts your droplinks and yes I'm aware it pisses you off but I think its funny lol)
(( OH AND ITS ME WHO PUTS REMOTE EXPLOSIVES PRECISELY ON TOP OF YOUR NANOHIVES ))

I played the HAV chinese-fire-drill game with blueberries in a FW battle once. I drive DEEP into the redzone (with 2 worthless gunners), jump out, call in an orbital, and jump into my HAV as a blueberry is driving off with it. When the dumbass jumps out for whatever reason later, I switch to the drivers seat and gun it back to the redline with 1 less blueberry because my buddy's orbital just recycled. Next thing I know, they intercept me again when I drive out.
and the cycle continued until the battle ended.

I dunno, giving a dam sure sounds like caring. Caring is a root word for carebears. Everyone with the New Eden education know that carebears are bad like commies, feminist, trade unionist, and ethnically diverse people. Which is part of the Culture Wars. Any war is bad unless it is war that your political structure benefits from. So the only reasonable and logical position is to not give a dam and look out for number one.
That aside last spring I was doing the "Leaf Logi on the Wind" thing. Set the sever to automatic, in battle randomly join squads or run solo, switching between mass driver and EQ as each situation dictates. Deep in my subconscious there is a try-hard somewhere. Teasing that out from the professional can be difficult. Without a strong squad attachment it's pretty easy to fall back to the amorphous,"True Logi." Provided the needed combat awareness can still be met which can be tricky with a whole team doing different stuff.
I have a lot of respect for Classic Logis. New Eden could use more Healers.

I give a damn: I protect blueberries, I res them, I repair them, I help them, I even keep my squad open so they can join in-game if we have a spot open.
They still hide in the redline. |

Had a blue mail me today calling me an idiot for blowing up turrets with my tank. I tried to explain to him that I don't trust blues to protect hacked turrets, that they are too much of a liability, as any decent tanker would say. In that game it turned out I was right, our team was horrible and we lost our cru and supply, luckily I had already destroyed our turrets so I could still support. They were so bad they couldn't kill anything even when half their team was swarm launchers, no really half.
