Let's talk about that Gal assault shall we? It's supposed to be the CQC assault fit right? Why are the weapons so inadequate? Would you rush a point with a plasma cannon and an ion pistol for a sidearm? Also the different variations of the AR need to be adjusted separately instead of all together. The shotguns hit detection is rough still?! All to often do I find myself resorting to using other racial weapons on the suit which kills my bonus potential. Could we take another look for good measure CCP rattati?

I think the thing to do with Gallente Assault is fit a complex kin cat, rush guys and hip fire it like a rangey shotgun. Anyone run 2 dmg mods, 1 shield extender, 1 kin cat, 1 armor rep, and 3 plates with a Duvolle and SMG?
That AR/SMG combo is ferocious! Even more so if your reload speed is up! Add the high rep capability of gal assault and some speed, and you ripping a Amarr and Caldari anything apart up close and personal!

That weapon has been buffed 16 times, its fine, get good with it.
It's been my primary weapon of choice since I started, and after two nerfs and massive hatred, I think the community finally killed it?! Only for it to be replaced by the ScR. I guess what I mean is if the ScR assault version (CRD-9) has a scope, even in assault mode (which no other assault variant of any rifle has). How come the we don't put one on the Gek-38? Why not give the Gek-38 another 10 meters of effective range? I mean we already have the breach AR right? Why do we need two close quarter versions? Why do we have a scope on the GK-13 and Glu-5 versions, for example, but no more range for those tactical versions?
My point is we should, at the very least, take another look at the weapon class since it is one of the oldest weapons. It may be a bit outclassed don't you think? This isn't coming from a guy who has been playing 2 weeks, but a 20+ mil vet who has run the AR even before the so-called "dmg buff"?! What I am saying is what looks like a buff to the AR versions (I.e. assault rifle, Gek-38, Duvolle) may not be the buff needed for the tactical versions or the breach versions. The GB-9 breach assault variant doesn't need a scope nor more range as it and the creadron breach are the ever reigning Champs of CQC chest plate busting! However, the GK-13 and allotek burst variants would lead one to believe that they could reach out and touch further than they do?! While the Glu-5 and Duvolle tact version have the power, but lack the range needed to be a tactical "range" rifle.
I don't want my RS-90 to do the same thing my BK-42 does?! That defeats the purpose. My SB-39 shouldn't have the fire rate of my SL-4. So why does my GK-13 or Glu-5 have the same range, or close the same range, as my Gek-38 or GB-9 breach variants? A range that is still far too short to compete with a basic rail rifle with it's crazy range AND ferocious damage? Instead of nerfin every rifle or weapon that has a bit more effectiveness than others like we did the AR. Bring the other rifles up to par.
We'really also bad about judging weapons based on one on one engagements when most engagements are 3v1 or 2v1. Try to look at the stats as well as it's practical application.
