Just got out of my first match of the day. It was a skirmish that ended in 133/40 in favor of the enemy when they blew up our MCC (They pretty much had all objectives from the start and yeah they red lined and murdered us that fast.)
How does that happen might you ask? Because nobody but me used AV! Within 2 minutes of the start of the match there were 2 rail tanks (One your typical **** tier militia sica and one your typical basic tier madrugar) and 1 missle python (Not even a well fit one I shot that python out of the sky in 3 shots, so he was either a newberry pilot or like me a sampler of everything...) and they proceeded to wreck our team while 15 blueberries spammed their assault, scout, heavy, anti infantry fits and spammed LAVs trying to escape or tanks trying to counter.... none bothered to use AV. So there I was trying all I could with my ishokune forge to hold back the dawn while the idiots kept calling in tanks only to have them destroyed and calling in LAVs only to have them destroyed and running away from the tanks and pythons because for some reason blueberries and newberries have this fantasy that they can outrun vehicles that move much faster than them. Every time I would almost kill a tank of course the 13 infantry that our 15 blueberries were also running from would decimate the only guy actually doing any damage.
And it gets worse, towards the very end of the match when we were down to about 44 clones and our MCC armor had about 1/4th of its bar left, one of my teammates pulls out an ishokune forge gun. OH OKAY! SO NOW YOU DECIDE ITS A GOOD IDEA TO KILL THE RED LINE VEHICLE PUSH!1!1!1!
So here is my advice to the blueberries, although let's face it the blueberries probably don't even use the forums, when the enemy is so far up our ass with vehicles that we can see their turrets coming out of our mouths... use some god damn AV. I don't care if all you have is militia forge guns and militia swarm launchers. We have a Supply depot in our spawn, everyone rain **** tier av death upon them and when they are forced to retreat then you switch to whatever fit you prefer. This isn't 1.7, they can't just ignore 16 av fits. And stop trying to counter vehicles with vehicles when they are in our red line, they are just going to shoot down the RDVs and turn your vehicles into scrap heaps before you can finish picking your nose.
Went 8/6 in that match and got 366k for it since nobody earned any WP on my team, sadly though I lost 1 45k LAV and 3k militia heavy, (My rail LAV combo I was going to use to feel out the field at the beginning of the match when literally the two tanks showed up as I drove out of our spawn) 4 80k ishokune fits, and 1 30k dau fit so it ended in a net loss of 32k...
Just a highly aggressive PSA from your friendly neighbor who is smarter than a 5th grader. |

Even when Nyain san was queue sync proto stomping my team when I started playing I wasn't going 0/16. There is a certain level of objectivity to be attained that a player is bad. Everyone at some point messes up/misses that shot/enters blind rage mode, but if you always mess up you're probably just doing it wrong.
In the match in question I went 8/6 which is terrible for me these days and got 1400 WP with a 366k payout. I often place 1st-4th place on my team with 1500-3000+ depending on what roles I filled in the match and usually get around 280k for it. That's why I included so many stats, because your team has to do really bad for you to get 366k isk out of 1400 WP with only 27 enemy clones terminated and the only vehicle destroyed was a python I shot down.
As a side note, I use blueberry to mean players that aren't good. IE, they could have 50 mil sp but if they don't use battlefield awareness and have no gun game that is a blueberry to me. I use newberry for players that just came into the game and don't know what they are doing. |
