OMFG CCP WHERE IS AMBUSH!!?

im squishy Ikomari-Onu Enforcement Caldari State 9	Posted - 2014.08.18 07:54:00 - [1] - Quote So i click on ambush and i get ambush OMS well i dont want that because its nothing but a tank camped on a spawn point killing everyone that spawns up and of course people keep spawning in right away so the smart deploy doesnt work (because smart deploy isnt smart and spawns you near your team thats getting slaughtered). So i cancel out and try again after like half a minute only to have it try to put me in another Ambush OMS. This went on for an hour of me canceling and trying to find a match that wasnt OMS and still no ambush. So did you remove it cause if so change the damned name to ambush OMS. If anything both those modes should be seperated since they are completely different (one has vehicles and one doesnt). So WTF CCP where is Ambush? And yeah sure i could play another game mode if they were worth playing. Since one team is always proto'd out while the other is nothing but noobs camping in the MCC, skirmish and dom matches just arent worth playing.

If you start and you have 80 clones its OMS. 50 clones is no vehicles spambush.

Nirwanda Vaughns 426th Infantry 679	Posted - 2014.08.18 10:37:00 - [8] - Quote I have noticed that there seems to have been a lot less Ambush showing up. its almost as if CCP have 'accidentally' changed something to nudge out Ambush tbh i think the decision to leave vehicles in both Ambush modes was stupid. or at least seperate Ambush and OMS again was stupid. all we're asking is for a small corner of the universe to just get away from all the python missile spam and murder taxis (which appear to be making more of an appearence again) and just have an Infantry only mode to 'relax' a bit lol Rolling with the punches

If you want help ranting isn't going to get you anywhere. Would help if you broke up your post too, no one likes a wall of text. As for your problem it could be pure bad luck, or it could be because you keep quitting and joining. By constantly leaving a battle you are queued for, the matchmaker tries to fill that slot. So by cancelling and joining straight away, guess who gets the spot? Try waiting 5 minutes and you will most likely get put in a different queue, increasing your chances. If you're playing at a time when not many are on, match variation will be much lower, making it harder to find the game you want.

You have no way to select one over the other. and what Squishy is saying is that he knows they have split Ambush and OMS but in the games that he's loaded up today the standard Ambush game mode hasn't come into rotation and he's just had OMS all the time. its also something i've noticed since Charlie was deployed in that only 1 or 2 out of 10 ambush matches have been an OMS ambush Rolling with the punches
