What the crap ? This isn't a bug ! So, you guys can't help me and you refuse to reimburse me due to your faulty game mechanics ?

In order for us to investigate this case, can you please give us an example from your Vehicle Fitting list, which Dropship/HAV suffers this issue, and what turret you are using when you are experiencing this?

The Problem is mainly with my Missiles or Rails as I use them with
my Dropship or Tank My fittings are just the standard fittings of
any-other tanker or Pilot It's just really aggravating is all as you can
imagine.

Hello ! I just played a couple of games, It's when I'm the main gunner
of something such as a dropship or a Tank. however when I'm in someone's
tank and on a Baby Rail I can reload. Note, I can't reload when I'm
gunner of an LAV.

Blasters don't reload as well.

I am probably going a bit over board but I am just thinking along the normal lines of trouble shooting.
Have you tried different controllers ? (Im guessing yes but have to ask)
Have you done restore defaults in control settings? (Again just had to ask.)
The main Q I have:
Have you tried logging into your character on a completely different PS3 on the off chance that something is corrupted in your console itself?

I've tried different Controllers, I've messed with my settings, I don't have another PS3 to try that on. I'm using standard controls. Thanks for you guys helping.

You need vehicle reload skill level 3 to be able to reload turrets

When that happens to me, it's because of lag.
I've discovered another big, recently while in gal FW, though. Somehow, my Ion Pistol was charging up a shot even though I had an empty magazine. Couldn't reload while doing that. I was in my scout fit so when I figured out that it could be fixed by switching weapons, I was dead.
As with turrets, well... I can't help you out much there. Try and keep pressing the fire button so that it tries to reload automatically. |

When I used the Duty Calls controls, I couldn't reload any large turrets. Use the default controls?

Ahoy! First things first:

Now that that's out there, I was asking for an example fitting because you have several, and I mean SEVERAL Dropship and HAV fittings. I really wanted to recreate one of these, that you are experiencing this issue with, module-by module, and try to replicate the issue itself. So, if you'd like us to help, please tell us what exact fitting you are using - HAV, turret, other modules, and what exact controller settings you are using.
Reimburse requests should be similar - state what exact items you have lost, when exactly /exact date and approximate EVE Time/ and under what circumstances, then we can look into it.

I've probably lost over 100mill because of faulty bolas's and other game mechanics (falling through floor etc)
Even lost 5 or 10 thales because of it. I've never filed a complaint as it's quite pathetic imo. Deal with it

I also experience this problem. This reload bug is exclusive to the Duty Calls controller settings. |

It is the duty calls controller settings that enable this bug. Try it for yourself. If you spam the reload button it might make you jump out the tank. |

Ahoy!
This issue was now reported with sufficient details to reproduce and to start working on a fix. For now we would suggest to avoid using the Duty Calls Infantry controller setting when using Vehicles, as it does in fact appear to interfere with the Vehicle Controls settings, and reloading turrets in a Vehicle. The Default Infantry and Vehicle settings should allow easy and normal use of all related functions.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
