The only thing on the HUD that I don't pay attention to is targeting information, unless I'm trying to identify whether an armour based tank is a soma/madrugar or a shield based tank is a sica/gunnlogi, as the majority of the time I know exactly what I'm looking at.

But the thing that makes me wonder is that there was no sound effect for the pilot, I only paid attention to the fluxes and after that I thought I was fine cause there was no sound effect so I was calmly looking for targets to kill (ignoring the scount next to me, thinking he's no threat) and then suddenly I go boom, haha! I have to say it was funny because it made me look like an idiot just standing there like a good blueberry would do. Now, I dunno if a sound effect would be justified or not, but it's quite funny that there is none.

I'm wondering if we will see skilled players with knives luring unsuspecting murder taxis into an odd kind of duel.

Presumably the knifer is, therefore, attacking thin spots (like vision slits, engines, tracks and so forth) or shearing chunks of armour away as he cuts. If the house is quiet either they are both asleep or at least 1 of them is up to no good and the other is watching. Which is why my ps3 is in a cabinet with a child proof lock and my play time is limited to when they are asleep so i can open it and let it breathe.

Well, I probably could, but I can't be bothered to, all my life I've been relying on audio cues to determine if I am taking damage in video games. If you take away the sound from a game I honestly don't know how to play it anymore, that is assuming the game had audio in the first place, games without audio are obviously completely different matter.
