I don't begrudge myself for being antisocial. You're right that most things in life besides video games were influencing both of our social lives a lot more. For example I've recently made the switch to organic food because I'm disgusted with the way society has forced me to eat absolute garbage, because it's the only option a low to mid income family can afford. The food industry has essentially ruined my childhood but my parents are also largely to blame as well. I mean why should I care that society shuns fat people when it's society that feeds you swill that's full of chemicals that tell your body not to feel fullness.
My grandparents sat me in front of a Super Nintendo playing Super Mario World, and ever since then I've loved video games. They are an art form. Some of the best music and visuals I've seen come from games. Doesn't mean I'm going to devote my life to them.
