Breach over standard AR?

Guiltless D667 75	Posted - 2014.08.14 20:23:00 - [1] - Quote The small caliber likeness for the std AR plasma does seem to cut it anymore even with the highrof,and Im starting to get killed by more breach AR variants more often(even before this patch),not so often that would cause a panic but enough merit to spark my interest and investigation.I suspect it's the higher damage of the rifle to get through opponents armor since shields pop no matter what rifle you use (if the opponents is low enough) and the control you have over the breach while ADSing/hipfire. For anyone who use the breach over the std ar do you find this true? Please Elaborate. A Strange Game. Crysis 514

I'm personally liking the Burst AR because of how reliable it is to kill people with (60 ammo in a clip for a burst weapon? DEAL!).

I use a GB-9 AR + SK9M SMG cause of hardhitting + accuracy of the AR plus also the hardhitting + accuracy of the SMG. Breach ARs & breach SMGs are underrated. They both shoot VERY straight and hit VERY hard. Plus the synergy of the two. (AR = shield base weapon SMG = armor) AND the sound of them (DAKKA DAKKA MORE DAKKA) Unicorning For The Win! Plus you HAVE to be accurate using these. Out of hip-firing thirty times, you'll only win five times AT THE MOST. I personally prefer the higher fire rate rifle though, it just suits my playstyle more.

I gave the breach AR + breach SMG a run a long long time ago and really liked it. Then I veered away to go all in for ScP's.... now that the ScP has lost some of it's luster as a main weapon I'm searching for a new combo. Instead of the ScP + SMG, I will give this old flame another tumble! I have to say though, because of the better hip-fire, I did better in CqC hip fire combat. Thanks bro! AKA Zirzo Valcyn AFKing since 2012

I know...but you would be surprised how many proto assault/heavys I have killed with it.

I would rather use a rail rifle then that thing. They say when you die you see a white light which then forms the line of: "GAME OVER! PLEASE INSERT COIN"

GallAss, but after the last Plasma Rifle buff i switched to GB-9 and Creo Breach. It works for me. I think the gun shines more in a GallAss for some reason (considering our bonus aint that good) but still it gets the work done, maybe cause i don-¦t use my Plasma Rifle to kill, i use my SMG. You see, i only need the shield alpha on my Plasma Rifle to take away the 1st layer of defense, when thats gone i unload my M209 Assault SMG and eat the armor. You have to be close, but if you want range, go CR, ScR or RR, up close the Plasma Rifle shines. When my targets are far i can still take em out with some patience. Even though i have Lvl 5 Operation, SShooter, Proficiency in both Plasma Rifle and SMG, so i guess that helps. It-¦s simple really, get close, take out shields with Plasma Rifle, finish off with SMG. If the red berry is shield tanking dont even switch, just finish him with the Plasma Rifle, if youre fighting an Armor based suit, switch to SMG. So yeah, i think the Breach Plasma Rifle is better now, at least for me it is (it got the range increased, ROF, dmg, etc.). Btw, when i switch from time to time to my Gek or Duvolle i feel my bullets hit less and disperse more. From the hip or when ADS the Breach Plasma Rifle feels more tight. I also have RR Lvl 5, so i really dont use Burst Plasma Rifle or TAPR, i tried them out and felt the RR was a better choice, i dont regret it. Hope it helps.
