-Complex KinCat

-Ishukone NKs
-Assault ScP
-Flux Nades
-ARN18 Cloak

I don't think its gotten noob friendly yet as a shotgun is alot more efective against infantry at lower levels, while the nova knifes requiere large amounts of investment into it to truly make it shine(min, prof, damp, kin, etc). The most important change I have seen is that its easier to land hits (thanks to the changes) but I think since we have been using NK with only 1meter to work with and the longer delay its alot easier to for us to kill now because were still thinking that we have to hug them for us to even hurt them(and we dont need to). Francois Sanchez What The French Red Whines. 68	Posted - 2014.08.14 14:20:00 - [3] - Quote I don't feel much difference in terms of difficulty to track your target, however the hit detection is fine now which makes a huge difference, I've recoreded some of my games and put them in slow mo to observe if the hit detection was crap or if I was missing and it was definitely the hit detection. Now they've improved it so yes you can kill more reliably, but the rest hasn't changed (so-called aim adhesion makes no difference for example). However the fact that you can avoid being scanned by the Cal ***** changes a lot. I think your fit is good, but to be a real knifer you need a Minmatar scout, the 25% bonus does a huge difference. And also, the advantage that the NK have over the shotgun is to be a sidearm, so except on a few fits, I take a combat rifle instead of a pistol (you have to be used to select your NK while running just before attacking though) For my Min scout I use : M/1-series : 2 advanced precision enhancers 1 complex profile dampener 1 basic range amplifier 1 complex shield extender Combat rifle Proto NK Flux Basic RE ARN-18 cloak That one isn't unscannable, but I'm limited in CPU and so I'm saving to get CPU level 4, adv RE also make a good difference Mk.0 : 2 shield extenders 1 adv precision enhancer 1 complex kincat 2 complex profile dampeners BK42 ACR Pro NK C-7 Flux F/45 RE ARN-18 cloak Here again the CPU level 4 will allow me to fit a few useful extra things

You sprint at 9.35 m/s and have 2 damage mods that affect both your knives AND your SMG. It's perfect for hit and run. You just gotta be used to running around with around 280 total HP. Though most of my kills come from static targets, I still get a significant minority of kills on moving targets. And this was prior to the super fast knifing due to longer delay. Plus, you are on a Gal scout using only ADV knives. Though they did get a buff, you really need to run proto knives if you are not sporting a minmatar scout suit. The knives aren't rubbish, they just take a lot of patience and skill. Its ok if its not for you, but too many people are good with them for the weapon to be rubbish. My Minja school

Some people are just not cut out to be ninjas. It took me months to master the knives and that was 2 years ago. Since then I have run mostly knives, rarely used the SMG even though I can go full proto on them now, and I almost never use the swarm launcher anymore because now I can scare off tanks more effectively with my knives. You just have to condition yourself on a lot of things like picking your battles, increasing your situational awareness even beyond that of the minimap while also being mindful of your limitations. The tunnel vision is still a problem for me but not as much anymore since now I don't have to be as close as I use to in order to get a kill. I'm still use to staying within 2.0 meters of my target even though my knives can now reach up to 2.5 meters. I still sacrifice my shields and armor for speed as I have grown accustomed to being super fast and using that as a means of defense, etc. I have also noticed the reduction in the delay in which the knives actually swipe after you tap the trigger button which is a big help in situations where you turn a corner and accidentally bump into a redberry you didn't see earlier and you have only a fraction of a second to respond. I used to think it had to be minja to get the most of it but if your good with them an had experience for a while and your pro 5 blades you can pull off good suits. Although I love my minja I felt goin past adv until now would be just as frustrating as it was from 1. 2 to 1.7 so I made these builds just to try something different. Ck. 0 Comp shield 2x comp sidearm damage Comp precision comp range/ damp comp reactive plate kalakiota bolt pistol pro 4 Ishknocks pro 5 18 cloak F45 're flux Ak0 2comp shield Rs90 Ishknocks 2comp kins Pd or range comp reactive 're 18 cloak flux The amar knife suit is a beast with the new precision bonus and the stamina which was unexpected since I've had it since day oneaand always seen it as a beast knife suit even before the Charlie buff, but I have a serious love for the cal scout as a knife suit with the bolt pistol and would love to make similar fits on a minja but with pg costs of knives and a proto bolt pistol plus kins and shield would make it so hindered just for a extra bit of damage that I would rather trade for more effective fittings on other suits since even if a heavy lives through my charged hit one round from a cr or my pro 4 bolt will end the fight just the same so I no longer see the point in gimping a fit just to be a minmatar unless my intention is to hack and stab, but I can do just as good or better with knives in any of my other scouts but my fave is a bolt pistol and knives on a fast healing cal.
