We told you not to change it but instead you listened to those noob asses that dont snipe and changed it anyways. So you are going to put it back to the way it was or you will pay dearly in game for it for as long as Dust514 servers are up and running.
That is all.
Am I one of the few who has absolutely no issues with it? I actually like the damn thing, and have had no problems before or after the change...
Perhaps we should make a option in the 'options' menu of the neocom, rather than removing it all together...

Some people hate having a dot cover what you want to hit, and like a circle showing what you will hit. The circle does not display what you will hit. (only the original dot gave you this) Your bullets have not gotten bigger. It's easy to get portions of a player inside the circle that are not in your direct line of fire. Meaning if you fire, you will miss.. In this statement I'm refering to a game where I was 200-250m away. It was hyper annoying and inaccurate. Also I don't see these people you speak of, or anyone posting reasoning as to how the new circle is in anyway better. At super close ranges, the new circle is good. The vast majority of snipers +95% don't do this. (unconventional ground sniping at near point blank you should probably be using a rail rifle range)
Is it really that hard to hit a target with the center of a dot that is barely 1/8th of an inch thick in diameter? Jesus... it's like you need your hand held all the way. Sorry for being rude, but it's not that difficult in the slightest...
I also forge snipe btw... it doesn't take any amount of skill to aim with an an invisible center reticule.
It's perfectly accurate if you just aim with the center of the circle... I've been picking off redline snipers from my redline with ease, just as long as I find them first.

Really...
the problem is not lining up headshots on people that are standing/sitting still. neither is it getting hits on people who are moving, the problem is hitting players that are moving in the head.
no we are not all red line snipers and no they are not the only ones who are complaining any more than the run and gunners are all spray and pray with auto aim hip firing mouth breathers who don't even think that aiming should be a part of a fps game when they can get their slow witted minds past words like erm.
You are right about one thing though lining up a shot with an invisible dot does not require skill. it requires guess work. |

1) I have seen only 3-4 people complain about the new scope, yet at least 6 people on just this thread have said they like the new scope, CCP aren't going to change it back just because a few people don't like it.
2) What you can see inside the circle has nothing to do with hit detection. If the circle is red (which is much easier to see on new scope) it will hit, if it isn't red, it won't. That simple, the dot facilitates headshots because if the head is in the reticule, which js lit up red, you get a headshot. If your struggling with what I'm trying to say, think of the forge gun, you've got a huge reticule, but so long as that reticule is red, I'm gonna hit the target.
