For being able to buy stuff in game?.
Iv had it in eve and dust more than any other game.
Hated for being able to spam proto aurum forever in dust and just been hated on about ten mins ago for being able to pimp my avatar in eve a bit when I made it.
At these people just skint?. Spending is like time, its relative.
I can only conclude that these haters are skint.
Any suggestions or enlightenment on what I might not be understanding is appreciated.
I simply do not understand, why wouldn't you if you can afford it?.
Logical conclusion - they are skint.

Most people want things for free.
Most people like to cry while not giving any actual contributions to the developers.
TBH I rather fight proto stompers than have ccp look for alternative ways to fund the game... "30 second ingame commercial advertisements after every match.." *Shudders*

The only thing I can think of would be if you're buying something they think should be at a much lower price or free, you're rewarding bad behaviour by the Devs as far as they see it.
See the Incarna protests etc. Something about a $70 vanity monocle.

Whoa!
Let's hope they tube the commercial so we can click "skip" after 5 seconds !
