I can shield tank my cal assault and have it be viable. Its regrettable that I don't have two lows for an armor rep but I'm loving being a true caldari.
Just played a match on border gultch I think, the one with the long bridge with four missile turrets on it. My gunner and I moved to destroy all the rails first, after we got the one by charlie our ground team requested dropship support over a to deal with uplinks on the rafters. The enemies had hacked all the turrets and we were met with an insane amount of missiles.
Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not complaining. It created a very dynamic battle. I called out to the ground team,
Me: ground team this is skyshark 1, we cannot engage until those AA batteries are down.
A battle then ensued on the bridge, not for control of the point, but of control of the AA turrets preventing air support from assisting the ground troops. It was quite a dynamic fight and having all of those missiles firing at me was really intense and awesome

A week later......... OH GOD nerf the viziam scrambler rifle.

Yeah well with 613 Shields, 2 second recharge delay, 3 second depleted. an a 50 per pulse ....... plus proto weapons, equipment, no movement penalties, etc..... looks very nice.
