How often do you actually feel impressed or satisfied when you gun down an HAV, ADS, LAV, etc?

I don't always blap Infantry with a Forge Gun, but when I do, that shit is hilarious.

I know I am significantly worse at tanking than I was back in 1.5............. I am bored and probably not going to be playing Dust for a long time....just wondering if AVing was any fun.
I haven't had to use AV for a while and since HAV are garbage I was wondering if it even was worth my time.

I could be smug like most the people are being in this thread but I'll answer honestly. I feel quite satisfied when I take out anything other than LAVs. LAVs are never used as mobile weapons platforms (Which they are damn good at if the driver knows when to stop and when to drive or if you just take over both roles) but they are rarely used as such. However, the team that ignores dropships and tanks almost always loses. So in that case I feel quite satisfied when I save my defenseless infantry buddies from the rolling threats that they can't stop.
AV is a reactionary role. I never go in wanting to play AV but sometimes you have to if no one else will step up to the plate. Its a support role and I feel quite satisfied when I and any other avers in the match chase off the vehicles and force them to change tactics.
I myself generally feel pretty bored in tanks because I'm either getting popped real fast by a competent enemy or I'm rolling over newberries.
Haven't tried ADS yet although I can field them, still trying to burn through all my old fittings before I Marian Reform again. My absolute favorite thing vehicle side is to drive around solo in a LAV and use either a blaster or railgun to mow down enemies. I've actually killed a couple of silly blaster tanks that underestimated the rail turret before. Rail Turret plus a good driver can be a nightmare for blaster tanks. |

It feels so good, every single time. I do kinda feel like a **** blowing up a miltia LAV with three guys inside though. But this is the only exception. |

Sorry I got distracted. Never impressed, as vehicle play is unimpressive. Always satisfied, as I usually am when I stop someone from doing whatever they want to do on the field. Mission Complete.

I'll admit I kinda feel like a vehicle sniper when I pop that weakspot from 150+ meters out with my wiki breach and it explodes

I just don't know True , it was starting to be but I have to wait a few to see if it still is now .
True ... I stopped using my vehicles like I had , after 1.7 ... I would always jump in a HAV or use a LAV and snipe people with my s-turret but now I fly most of the time and snipe with forge's and SR's .
Do it true , it will make you feel better ... I seen the changes that would " dummy down " vehicle usage and I said to myself , " Since CCP has ruined it for me ... I might as well make it hard for others . " and I know that's somewhat spiteful but I get a warm and happy feeling when I swarm and forge vehicles .
It's nothing like using HAV's and so forth but now with the great disadvantage ground vehicles have over air ... I would rather be the one blowing them up instead of getting blown up myself .
Try it and see for yourself , it might feel dirty at first but you can always take a shower or bath .
You just might begin to like it . 
You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

True, Av can be fun, but it can also be frustrating while lonewolfing while there's tank/ads spam n no one else thinks "maybe I should bring out some av...". However it's always worth it to me between my sig (that's seriously not a joke, I do actually hum that lol), and seeing the flaming wreckage that used to be a vehicle.

One thing doing AV is stupid:
* +75Wp for LAV dmg, +40WP for LAV dest. I feel it should be reversed. |

I only get a sense of satisfaction if I take out a good pilot's ADS. Other than that, it's just "tank down, next target"

Aving is mostly frustrating . But, yeah, whenever I destroy a tank / dropship I am pretty happy.

Unless they're someone I know or a Forum user, It feels meaningless and empty..
Though I always feel impressed when I gun down an ADS. However I also feel a great amount of embarrassment for the Pilot in question.
