I have tried it with the Shock Assault and can confirm at least that. Incorrect. Don't know about the extra equipment, but I have used the AR, the ScP, and the Bolt Pistol. I, literally, quick switched through all 3. Perhaps yours is extra buggy?

Shock Assault uses all the weapon slots (for now) and the Gallente Logistics Gk.0 uses all 4 equipment slots. Also, switching through rings to get to grenade would be too time consuming. Ever played Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal? They had multiple weapon wheels and no used the second one in multiplayer because it meant death.
