Python get shanked by STD swarms. 3 volleys from 10k isk swarm laucher (12k sp) and there goes my 500k isk Python (probably 5 million sp). Didn't happen cuz I fly away after the first volley but statistically, this is what would happen if I chose to fight back.
Hotfix Charlie for me: 3/10
Why:
Heavy nerf is too harsh on my Caldari sentinel
My tank getting Nova knifed (funny, not exactly a bad thing)
Python getting destroyed by no skill swarmers faster than ever before
ADS still overpriced
HMG still a pain in the arse
No possible way to detect scouts other than proto gal logi
This is just my opinion.

Not going to lie when I say..... ADS really shouldn't be able to tank AV fire..... you can't have mobility, fire power, and shield/ armour in one hull.

Though honestly you shouldn't be able to absorb fire from AV when you have high speeds and damage.

Swarms have always suffered from the the largest gap between tiers, at a 25% damage difference between STD and ADV, and a 20% between ADV and PRO. Almost all other weapons have a 5-10% difference between tiers, so the changes to swarms simply bring the STD and ADV up to where they should have been relative to PRO all along. |

Not going to lie when I say....ADS hull is about 230k isk overpriced.
Also, mobility means nothing when swarms always hit when fighting back. I rather 1v1 a forgegunner than a swarmer because Forgegunners can get out maneuvered and their shot's don't throw you into buildings like swarms and you can actually keep your aim.

So from what I heard you want.
The Current Fire Power your ADS currently have. Enough to see off HAV and Infantry...... on the same hull.
You want the current levels of manoeuvrability including the ability to fly and access some of the most useful areas of the map.
You also want roughly HAV like tanking capacity to survive AV and not run.
You know what Anmol
I wish my HAV could have 5 large blasters, house a shrine to the empress, make nifty hot fudge sundaes, and be capable of interstellar travel....... I think that's pretty reasonable right?

actually ADS is not overpriced.. and Python got 500 more shield hp but with rebalanced swarms more people are useing them at Mil/Standard level
sentinel QQ? more SP into core/electronics/engineering

Python did not get 500 more shields you dimwit, and have you even tried fitting the Caldari heavy? Even with max skills the proto has to be fit with adv and std mods if you wanna keep a proto hmg. You can fit complex mods but then you have to leave slots empty.

3 volleys, i must try those basic swarms - i generally find that i can't kill a ADS with a minimando, 2 complex damage mods and proto swarms when they put fittings on them. |

I've been shooting 3 volleys in a row at ADSs all day, none of them died from it, and yes, all three volleys connected. I don't see why you are making a thread about a problem that is completely nonexistent. Anything to join in on the Hotfix Charlie hate bandwagon, I guess.
