Hey, it takes about 1/3 of the match time to recall a vehicle now.
That is stupid.

This is good! It protects your vehicle killing..driver pops out and recalls, runs off into the redline and then calls it in again. AWESOME!

For a game that doesn't provide a quick mode of personal transport, it doesn't make sense for vehicle recall time to be longer than 2 seconds.
I will probably spend more time running from point to point now.
You mean your massive armored vehicles don't magically disappear after 5 seconds?
Wow. It's almost like it takes time to have an RDV come down from high orbit and pick up your ride.

No, it is bad.
If I fly my dropship to the redline and recall it, the long recall time gives tanks an opportunity to cross into the redzone and destroy my ds during recall.
I will now consider recall a lost feature of the game. Anytime I pull out a dropship I will simply leave it and let it get destroyed.
Long recall times are unnecessary.

Maybe you should stop taking out vehicles when you aren't prepared to lose them?
I wish I could recall my dropsuit on the fly and get a new one. Nope. I have to find a supply depot.

Long recall time?.. It's 10 more seconds.
Can you provide video evidence that the 10 extra seconds would actually make a difference in a legit situation requiring a recall?

I am only voicing my opinion here. I'm not trying to prove anything. If you think about it, adding time to a job reduces efficiency, so yes, it makes a diff in any legit or non-legit situation.

Let's say i am running a Madrugar with an Ion Cannon and all of a sudden I see a Madrugar with XT-201's in the kill feed I go back to our red line ASAP to recall to bring in a Gunlogi Missile or Rail however in the middle of the 10 second recall the enemy tank finds me in the red line and decides to take out my Madrugar. Which means I have lost half a mill ISK attempting to recall my beloved HAV

-Vehichles used strictly for transport are easily destroyed during recall. -Tanks have more time to kill vehichles behind the redline during recall. +1 now i can't bring my ADS to saftey

If I use a dropship to get from one side of the map to the other, and then recall it, is that being a dickbat.

The loss of efficiency in a legit situation is trivial.
How much time did you save by flying to an object vs. running? Does that 10 more seconds negate that time you just saved? No, it doesn't. You have still arrived faster than if you had hoofed it.

I couldn't resist
Also: If the thing is purely transport, then use a cheap dropship.
Why on earth are you so messed up about loosing a cheap non-fitted dropship?

Instead of incresing the time taken to recall (the hacking bit), why didn't they just increase the time it takes to dematerialise???
I have shitloads of SP in vehicles but I'm not using them anymore as I'm fed up of standind still holding circle for 20seconds. It's pathetic.

I dont think they are talking about the time it takes on the recall with the spinning wheel like you are hacking i think its talking about the time it takes to allow you to call in a new vehicle after you just recalled one.
Idk if you ever tried to call in a vehicle aftr you just reclled one but you hve to wait a certain period of time to do it, and i think thats what they are extending, it would be silly make you sit there for 1/3 of the match trying to recall something and leave you a sitting duck.
If thats what you are worried about then call in one first then recall the one your getting rid of.
