Quite simply this suit faded off into myth like the Jove, once majority of the vets vanished and stories of the officer suit have become hear'say as to how, why and who has them... until it was mentioned in patch notes n now everyone wants one.
So the idea.
just as we had the scout suit event that for every 10kills with a sniper suit we got a quafe Gk.0 how about we're each given 10 Balacs GAR-21's and for every 10 kills with the GAR-21 you get a Balac Modified Assault Ck.0 at the end of the event?
seeing as most the guys who had them seem to have moved on and nothing else has really been done with the whole faction/officer items that we had hoped, it would give the last of us still sticking with the game the chance to see and use one or two and it gives us a reason to crack out the officer weapons as well that are just collecting dust in hangars.

would be nice if officer gear (inc dropsuits) were only available in the FW salavge table. it'd make a bi tof sense and would increased FW participation more too

The Balacs suit was widely known but it was only given in a closed beta tourny just like the angel cartel saga and no one else ever got it, that's why people want it now.
in past it was yeah when mor eof us vets were aorund to talk about it. then it just seemed to get forgotten cos half the guys who had them barely play or use them. i used to see the Angel Cartel LAV a lot more back in closed beta but not seen any since last month of chromo

yeah i meant as a kinda 'lucky dip' section for the FW table where you get a 1 in 100 change of gettign officer wepaon and 1 in 1000 chance of it being officer suit for the winning sides players.
i had hoed for more interaction events but just as there used to be loads in eve in the beginning they're pretty non existant now. liek the Agent event in closed beta or the templar events ect. just something in the FW that rewarded players with something unique again

Angel Cartel LAVs were a bpo i belive the Balac stuff was 25 or 50 units i think

Of course not, I keep them in their box to retain they're value :p ps. I was originally holding onto them with the hope of making a killing in the player market. hahah yeah i guessed pretty much everyone would just hold them in the hangars ready to trade when we still believed we'd have a players market. how many/what exactly did you get for the prize? was it 25 or 50 or the suits/weapons?

Looks better on Caldari IMO.
just goes against lore. Quafe is a Gallente company so would make more sense it being a Gallentean suit than Caldari

would be nice. am sure if time and effort is put into Legion being worthwhile we'd get them. personally i think CCP got too ambitious with their games. with EVE, DUST, Valkyrie and then World of Darkness it was too much. Can't imagine how success full DUST would have been with an extra 56 peopel workign on it for 2 yrs and an extra $25m spent on it
