While refreshing eve offline I happened to come across the new player birth graphs and couldn't help but do a double take.
So who is still farming alts at this point in the games lifespan?
More importantly, look at what it does to the PCU count when you consider that 800 accounts per hour being created out of a PCU of around 4k.
This is a part of why you could never have a meaningful connection to Eve, but it goes deeper when you ask yourself why would someone continue to farm ISK in a game with no future?
I don't waste my time in the vaporware section, but do the devs have some plan for Legion where new players won't just get a free stack of cash to send to another player? Because clearly there is some small fanatical group that is willing to farm ISK in this fashion as long as the issue is left unresolved.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

Sure, you can have all my Dust ISK, because playing well and being a PC force I made more than I could ever spend.
I'll take an equal amount in Eve, since that game will still be around next year.
