I'm thinking CCP will have a SP event starting tomorrow (Wednesday) to help promote interest in the Hotfix Charlie release.
Would they make Omega's available as well?
It seems like they do one roughly every month or so and to time it with the release would make sense.
Do you think they will?

No, I don't think they will. Otherwise, they would've wrote it in events, and we'd see a thread or two complaining about why we're getting another SP Acceleration Event. |

ah yes, there is nothing I hate more than having extra sp to unlock things with
CCP should run 0.5 sp events or negative sp events |

That's not it, honorary member of the Sarcastic 4.
It's that, it is not an event where you actually do things and get rewarded with special items... Or something. Like the Black Eagle Event. Everyone and their mothers ran those suits. The only thing an SP Acceleration Event does is that. Makes you get more SP regardless of your methods for doing so.
Also, I've never wrote that it would be me who would be typing those threads.

If no respecs, it's better to have SP events, even if only 2X. It's simply a matter of goodwill toward the playerbase, who is locked into the choices that CCP has decided to make.
Besides, some of us can't play all the time or cap out every week. Occasional-to-frequent X-times SP events are welcome for those of us that have, you know, a life? A good part of this playerbase is older with family and career responsibilities, ya know. And we sure as hell didn't get the summer off to screw around and cap out every week like all the twitchy golden-thumbed teenagers recently did.

Omega's use to mean something that's why they aren't available all the time .
They just did an Omega sale back to back not just two months ago and that sale was during two months it's self .
Stop trying to P2W .
Every event doesn't need Omega's on the market , you should stock up when they are available like most do .
You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

Refund talk is for after Delta which is next .
Just spam idea's after Delta , like a ticket refund .
Those who would like SP refunds need to file a customer ticket to receive one , that way those who do will receive one and those who feel fine don't try to walk on the toes who would like one .
I'm willing to wait until the next hot fix if that means that we will finally have a choice .
It's long overdue but given the changes that needed to be made , it's well understood .

Wouldn't that continue the hot pursuit of FOTM chasers? Not that you can eliminate that, but the providing of means for you to get quicker SP so you can skill into the new changes helps feed the FOTM. |
