I saw swarms do 50% hp on a 2550 shield python, and wasn't a minmando, I don't know, so why are people complaining swarms are underpowered?

The words "not every vehicle has them, it shouldn't be what av is balanced on, and takes a python's high slot"
Unless of course you balance swarms on having 3 complex damagr mods and lvl 5 prof, then those who don't use it are gimped snd it becomes mandatory to fit them.

Lets not pretend like something is balanced because you choose not to play it to its fullest.
E.G- I never used 3x Rep Maddies.....didn't make tanks balanced.......

dear OP.. its not a case of swarms are OP.. which they are not as in charlie they will be nerfed and caldari ADS buffed even more.. the case is probably Min-mando+complex damage mods+proto swarms= your ass is toast
but as some one mentioned.. soon as you take a hard hit pop your shield resistance-> AB and fly HIGH and FAST that seems to be best way to avoid swarms after initial first hit or 2nd one.. then wait till you can turn on yoru ab and shield resistance again to make your getaway...
honestly idk why im giving you tips when i hate dropships that just chicken out and will not die to my swarms

this is why we need a Swarm turret(lock on, not dumb fire) for LAVs to be the glass cannon to chase/kite vehicles.. and would give more use then just murder taxi.. Jihad jeep.. initial rush at round start..

Put a decent small rail on it. Pretty much the same thing but instant damage, better damage profile, better against infantry, easier fitting, etc etcGǪ |

Whatever, no I guess I'll start using the ab since people keep bitching it's op.
But I hardly think that the ab is op because you get damaged once and flee right away.

Swarms should deal 80% damage to shields so deal 1056dmg to the python.
It would take 3 damage mods for the swarmer to deal half of 2550 unless it was being used by a minmando. Which is fine. |
