The Call
Written By: The Nameless
Inspired by A terrific gift and promise I directed my attention to the needs of the ones I love. I am grateful to have this opportunity to share this story. The Gates are open and a choice will be made. To you who understands I do deeply appreciate your support as we move onward to a new destiny. These Chronicles I dedicate to my brother. The stories and adventures are true events that took place in the Heavens. May this bless your life with a rich story and inspiration to conquer. GÇâ The Most Amazing Dream
I was laying close to a compfire in the cold snowy ground. The night was bright full moon shining above the treeline. I knew there were people around me from my periphrial vision. I was buried in the snow from my feet up to my chest. The fire sat at my feet close enough to burn me if I hadnGÇÖt been wrapped in a blanket of snow. Not knowing more than that I simply continued to pack on more snow as it melted away. No one said a word as we watched the fire dance in the night. As quickly as a person would the fireGÇÖs heat became too much and I popped up like a bolt of lightning. I found it funny I would even attempt such a thing. The fire cast my shadow perfectly against the trees. Since I was in a joking mood I stuck my hands out and made a shadow puppet of a buck. I screamed GÇ£check it out! ItGÇÖs a deer!GÇ¥ Laughter erupted and steve popped up with a big smile. He looked into my eyes and in his best English accent said GÇ£Good one my son!GÇ¥ As we enjoyed the moment, a loud bell as if a church bell started ringing in the background. GÇ£WhatGÇÖs a bell doing rining at this hour?GÇ¥ I turn to see the area. As I pan my vision towards the sound someone shouts GÇ£ItGÇÖs the end of the WORLD!GÇ¥ the tone of voice was dead serious. IGÇÖm still turning my head when across the sky a ship glides toward the sound. Blue lights dancing around itGÇÖs elongated center. A moment later a second with red lights. When I looked at the moon a great roar of wind could be heard behind me. As it intensified so did the moons color drift to blood red. As if nature had forgotten everything the sun rose to meet the sky. Sheer panic of what was to follow set in. Seeing all this I was terrified beyond words, as the sun dimmed greatly. All the while the roar of the wind was coming to a peak and I knew time was short! As if the world had blackened away all at once, the ground began to become more distant. The force of the wind took me straight upward and not ripped me to pieces as I assumed that terrible sound would do. I saw my people beneath me as I was torn off the face of the earth. There was a longing in their face. Nothing real or fictional could ever match the absolute terror. As every human being IGÇÖve ever known would I searched to escape. But I didnGÇÖt, I couldnGÇÖt, then I wouldnGÇÖt. As soon as I accepted it, something I picked up along the way.., I just reached upward peacefully and softly smiled as I saidGǪ
GÇâ WhatGÇÖs in a Name? GÇ£GreaseGÇ¥ a term I learned from the military, a dual meaning, to be a lubricant to get things moving and to turn your enemy from a solid form into a liquid. The surname is old English in times of war and peace it was also a duality. In times of peace a brick mason to GÇ£spillGÇ¥ mortar, to build walls and homes, to GÇ£spillGÇ¥ in times of war referred to the dropping of blood upon the Earth. GÇ£ettGÇ¥ as in the act of doing so. My name was Grease Spillett. GÇâ How did I get there? Taken from the world I knew, I had arrived at this new sophisticated place in a time of war. As I regained consciousness I found myself in a strange room. It was a comfortable climate with interesting hews of green and blue lights. The walls were metallic and barren, empty shelves and monitors projected images of things I didnGÇÖt understand. I was intrigued and unafraid as I explored my surroundings. I reached out to touch the a massive screen in the living area of my room. As I did I noticed my body had been covered by some sort of uniform as if an exoskeleton of some sort. It felt as though I were lightly clothed but as I explored my arm further I found that my body was not only armored but shielded with a sort of aura I couldnGÇÖt understand. A holographic image of a beautiful woman began to describe to me the situation I was in. She said I had been a salvageable piece in a world of misbegotten children. I was now an immortal who would be an instrument of war permanently. Keeping it simple she explained to me that I was now classified a Gallente Federal Marine. It was due to my belief in freedom and democracy that I had been delivered to these people. She briefed on the ability to choose my role to support a growing number of mercenaries to establish control and order or to be an agent of chaos and infamy throughout the galaxy. I chose to be a scout sniper. I had no choice but to be a mercenary for the battles and wars of intergalactic super corporations fighting for control of ground installations and resources of strategic value. The system called GÇ£Sinq Liasom GardemesGÇ¥ was to be my safehouse and base of operations. The brief ended with GÇ£good luck.GÇ¥ I turned my attention toward a door that I could neither open nor know where I was physically.

Comprehension of War There is a specific reason I chose to be a scout sniper. As such I would be able to move undetected, provide intelligence on enemy movement, and hold high value targets with little to no risk thus providing an area of denial to the enemy. Military training had taught me that communication in brevity and teamwork were the keys to success in any endeavor. With that in mind I meticulously toiled with weapons and armor combinations. I was provided a market that would allow me to purchase and customize any of the major forces in this place called GÇ£New EdenGÇ¥. I hoped that through patience and skill I would make a central figure of elite special forces. Throughout the galaxy there were four major forces in action. The Amarrians, Caldari, Gallente, and Minmatar were all distant relatives of the old world. I had no idea about anything to do with our differences but I learned quickly. Amarrians were a proud empire of excess and conquest. Their goal was to enslave all peoples and to worship the holy empress. Caldari were master trades and specialized in shield technologies. The Caldari were typically silver tongued devils when it came to getting the right price. Gallente were just and fair minded peoples believing in freedom and democracy. It was the council of elders that decided war was inevitable. The Minmatar they were the slave caste of the Amarrian empire. Born a bred for many hundreds of years to be of a high physical ability. They were perhaps the least organized but by far the most physically talented. A rebellion had been lead that made them a nation. I had an affinity towards them though they brought down more war than peace. Nothing could deter their hunger for freedom. GÇâ IMMORTAL This war was unprecedented. Weapons and armor that are fantasy or were far away dreams of the world I once knew. The most critical and disparaging of which is instantaneous mind transfer. The Amarrian Empire had devised an incredible fusion of technology to create the most fearsome of warriors, an Immortal. Clone technology combined with this breakthrough allowed for a warrior to escape the failed clone even at the moment of death. All the while the fighters consciousness was lightyears away in a secure station. As long as the enemy had clones and a means to relay this signal the fighting would go on. I prepared myself to meet and face mercenaries of all quality. The new reality and fear I felt was tremendous. My First Contract A fellow Gallente and the person who brought me here, was a tanker code named NinjaPirateRobotZombie. Called NPRZ for short, he was a lieutenant of a corporation known as Subdreddit. They were a lively crew but not all inclusive. I was unable to join due to a lack of participation in their political lobbying. I did not mind because I was new here. I knew regardless that I would find the right group given time. The one who leads me is perfect. From my secure station under the command of NPRZ set out to a production facility on a planet named Klingt VI. As we booted into our clones I chose a militia variant sniper class. It was a very poor version of what I was to design. Our ship was called the mobile command center and we planned in an area known as the warbarge. The shipGÇÖs cost was roughly 50 million interstellar kredits or ISK and was quite an amazing feat of cooperation and design. As we travelled through space at around 6,000 astronomical units an hour, AU, we surveyed the battlefield. 4 critical points were required to defend the installation from invading forces. These points were stations known as null cannons. Our directive was two-fold. Hack these installations for interplanetary missile defense or to eliminate the enemyGÇÖs clone forces before our ships destroyed one another. These missiles dealt incredible damage and were to be top priority. NPRZ directed a dropship pilot to deliver me to the enemy tower closest to their ship. I understood my role was to defend point bravo by acquiring a headshot on the would be hackers and to call out enemy forces troop movements. Our ships speed decreased sharply as we burned through the atmosphere to jump onto friendly soil. I jumped out of a plasma shielded membrane that was resemblant of a bomb bay. I slid through and activated my inertia dampener that acted as a protective field to keep us from dying on impact. As I rose from a knee, a Re-deployable vehicle, RDV carrying an attack dropship landed gently adjacent to my landing zone. The pilotGÇÖs name was Gabriella Gray an Amarrian Female freelance mercenary. I stood by until she jumped into the dropship, firing up her thrusters. As I enter the low eerie hum rose to a scream as we bee-lined to bravo point tower. Gab as I call her bellowed out in her classic deep tone, GÇ£Hang on weGÇÖre in for some chop.GÇ¥ Anti-Aircraft railguns nearly miss us. The displacement of air gave us rough turbulence. Gab GÇ£Standby for drop!GÇ¥ cool as ice GÇ£3GǪ2GǪ1GǪ DROP!GÇ¥ I jumped out to land nearly dead center upon the forward tower. She pulled up hard and sharp and began to give a sweep around the hotzone. I surveyed my surroundings gazing at a beautiful and dusty world. Two moons hung in the dusk sky as I move into position. Heart racing I was ready to execute.

NPRZ GÇ£Give us the scoop Grease!GÇ¥ he commanded with enthusiasm knowing my potential. GÇ£Two enemy tanks under their MCC convoying to central road. Half and half ground troops to closest objectives.GÇ¥ NPRZ GÇ£Rodger that. Grease, do not let them hack bravo and 15 second interval updates on enemy armor.GÇ¥ Our frontlines took our closest points Charlie and Delta. Swiftly I scoped into point Bravo hacking station. One after another for 2 minutes I killed every hacker. The Frontline advanced yet it felt like an eternity. I kept pace with armor updates as NPRZ did his work. He flanked expertly and crushed the enemy tanks by taking the rear. Knowing the enemies every move and by intelligent design. NPRZ had been here a long time. He had developed one of the most sophisticated tanks ever conceived. It was heavily armored and armed with a blaster turret of a radically new prototype version. I watched the whole thing in awe of his destructive power. An enormous thunder erupted as he opened fire on the rear tank. Coms were dead silent as we swayed to the symphony of destruction. Cooled by an advance heat dispersion system the super powerful rounds just did not stop. He called the tank GÇ£The God FitGÇ¥. Amidst the ensued chaos I could hear the barking of machine gun fire beneath me as the troopers were establishing the front. All manner of know weapons could be seen and heard. Assault rifles firing plasma rounds, the hum of ionized laser beams, crystal focused scrambler rifles, Grenade launchers called Mass Drivers, all were firing rocking the ground beneath me and kicking dust. I simply stayed focused watching and waiting for the next would be hacker. The front firmly at a stalemate each side was no longer concerned with success it was a pure brawl of a new order. They had become dedicated to the utter annihilation of each other. After ten minutes of intense battling the enemy MCC exploded. The concussion of the blast wave startled me as I rose to watch her fall. The relay destroyed all enemy combatants simply fell lifeless to the ground. A battle summary report was filed and we were to be compensated. I made 190,000 ISK for a 13-0 Kills to death. My connection no longer required I was then cut from further work there and opened my eyes to be in my body at the secure station. Ready to go again and again I am Immortal. GÇâ Being Mentored I was recruited from a public contract by a logistics/support Minmatar. His demeanor was something I recognized, like seeing a reflection. Codenamed CaoticFox CEO of the Axis of Chaos. Battle hardened by years of combat he took me under his wing to increase my skill and to use me as a weapon for true conquest. GÇ£Some will do ANYTHING to get ahead in the universe, but we are held fast with the purest integrity throughout the multiverse. We are the SALT of the omniverse!!!GÇ¥ I spent an incredible amount of time both on and off the battlefield preparing for ultimate war tirelessly fine tuning and generating new sniper suits until I was sure that I like and performed as I envisioned. I had taken to the Gallente Scout Frame G-1 series. They were light, fast, and hard to detect. I knew being a sniper in a frail suit was risky but to my rationale if I am seen I deserve to die as a sniper anyway. I had taken to the Charge sniper rifle variant its sound is terribly annoying but the damage output was the only competitive option. I was able to deal enough damage to down anyone with a well-placed headshot. Caoticfox or GÇ£foxGÇ¥ for short had taught me to be very forward and to run like hell if I was spotted. I had taken to driving a Land Attach Vehicle, or LAV, straight to the enemies home point. I would attempt to set up the shot before anyone else could get there. Most of the time it payed off, I would get 10-20 kills picking off stragglers and hackers. I had the occasional run in with an angry enemy running at me like a rabid dog. I would call in my LAV and smash the accelerator before my assailant could get to me. I was as fox called me a GÇ£Glass Canon.GÇ¥ Capable of dealing tons of damage but take none. If another sniper saw me before I saw him I was dead. I made the mistake of being GÇ£Scoped in.GÇ¥ it was a reference to a sniper not being situationally aware due to paying to much attention on targets and not my nearby physical locations. I had died through all manner of deaths that way, from being liquefied through a full on rail gun, to humiliating executions from remote explosives. Fox always laughed when I told him how I died. Fox GÇ£Man I do that all the time!GÇ¥ giggling his laugh was entertaining in itself, like the Joker. Honing my skills I had sharp increases in performance through being random and using a shoot and scoot mentality. My communication skills and sense of direction were a major upside to vehicle operators and they tipped for the callouts. Card Drunook a vehicle specialist said to me GÇ£Grease I will pay you to play with me. You are the best forward air controller in New Eden.GÇ¥ Flattered and happy to oblige I would assist anyone who needed me. CaoticfoxGÇÖs words of wisdom combined with my blitzkrieg minded tactics sharpened me into a finely tuned tactician. I had gotten to the point that I could predict enemy movement. It was a color code I had imagined and a sort of timer. I would count the amount of time I thought it would take to run to an objective. If things became seemingly quiet I had a timer set in my mind. By judging the layout of the battlefield and assessing the enemies speed capability, I was able to predict within fifteen seconds an enemy push. However I could not predict for stupidity. I had been witness to the worst cases of stubbornness. I watched either the enemy or friendly charge headlong into a sure slaughter on more than a handful of occasions.

A change for the future Gaining notoriety from battle to battle I was being recognized by those who knew me as, GÇ£New EdenGÇÖs Premier Sniper.GÇ¥ In a battle of no particular importance I ran across a squad with room for two additional members. Recognizing their tag and remembering their powerful presence I request that fox and I join their squad to assist them in battle. They were a corporation called 0uter.Heaven. The squad was lead by Radar-R4D7, along with him was Reiselia, D3LTA Blitzkrieg, and Kaotic Krusader. They all had an incredible amount of skill and grace from what I had previously witnessed with and against them. Caoticfox conceded and we joined the squad. Our coms now shared their encrypted channel. The air of speech was playful and whimsical as they held the city referred to as the GÇ£Emerald City.GÇ¥ Radar was minmatar and had developed a scout shotgun fit. A very talented flanker and hacker Radar ran at lightening speed. Reiselia meanwhile set up a forward base dropping ammo and armor replenishing GÇ£nanohivesGÇ¥. She was Caldari and used a logistics class suit with a mass-driver. Kaotic Krusader drove around in a nearly invincible all-four-wheel-drive land attack vehicle. His massive Amarrian dropsuit wielded a Heavy Machine Gun and was a terror in close quarters combat. He would patrol the city and that which he did not run-over he would shred apart by hopping out of his car and mowing them down. D3LTA Blitzkrieg was a Caldari assault class, able to hold a frontline and regenerate shields in the blink of an eye. He carried an assault rifle and submachine gun. Wondering what the conversation would go like I asked GÇ£Is it ok for us to join you?GÇ¥ No one minded as they all chimed in one after another Radar GÇ£Nope!GÇ¥, Reis GÇ£thaaaatttsssGÇÖ FIIIINNNEEEGÇ¥, D3LTA GÇ£sure.GÇ¥, Kaotic Krusader GÇ£GǪGǪGÇ¥ Grease GÇ£My role is sniper.GÇ¥ Everyone laughed but I didnGÇÖt see how that was funny. Radar GÇ£SoGǪ. YouGÇÖre a sniper?..GÇ¥ Grease GÇ£Yes I am the best.GÇ¥ They laughed much harder that time and fox decided to speak. GÇ£Guys he may actually be the best.GÇ¥ Still giggling Reiselia with her valley girl accent was laying down uplinks for clones to generate and spawn in, asked GÇ£How good are you and can you prove it?GÇ¥ While on my perch hidden next to the enemy ship I asked GÇ£What would you constitute as good?GÇ¥ Reiselia GÇ£UmmmGǪ Oh my GOD! So like what is your kill to death ratio?GÇ¥ GÇ£7.75GÇ¥ Reis GÇ£Hmm thatGÇÖs not bad. But can you prove youGÇÖre good?GÇ¥ GÇ£I am.GÇ¥ Enemy after enemy I was denying them to even come out of the enemy MCC. Having crafted what I felt was the best sniper fitting for a suit I had several different modules to assist my will. 2 complex damage modifications, profile dampeners, and enough stamina to run forever I was as good as it got. Battle summary report 26-0 I was satisfied that they knew me now. I accounted for 40% of the total kills that battle. I was haunted by their laughter, what was funny about being a sniper? After that encounter I began to consider a change. I was skilled enough to get a new suit and weapon what I chose was to be the greatest fit of its time. GÇâ Pioneered Molden Heath was a backwater station to the great pilots and pirates of deep space. I had acquired a hunger for competition. Public mercenary work had become dull. I had a desire to prove myself and dominate my enemies with unrelenting force. Hoping that one day my name would be known throughout creation I pioneered. Axis of Chaos was not growing well due to the strict rules enforced by Caoticfox. His rule was no prototype level dropsuits in public contracts. This drove many to leave and having constant mediocre performances many mercenaries walked away unsatisfied. OtherGÇÖs simply could not handle the lonely life of a soldier. It was harsh, unforgiving, and brutally painful dying over and over again for months and years. Our would form echoing pains from previous battles. The mind knew it was real but the body had no pain but what the mind created. Alone deep in space, I had no one to hold me through the night. So I worked hard then harder. Resentment filled my spirit and I turned into murder itself. In a closed door meeting with Fox I voiced my concerns. Grease GÇ£ Fox I need to experience new things such as planetary conquest.GÇ¥ Fox GÇ£You know we arenGÇÖt big enough! Nor do we have enough members. All the new recruits quit because they are getting stomped.GÇ¥ Grease GÇ£ I need to experience it for intelligence so that when we begin we have some experience.GÇ¥ Fox GÇ£ What do you want to do GREASE!?GÇ¥ Grease GÇ£I want to join 0uter.Heaven and see how they do things. They are the best IGÇÖve seen. I want to know how to conduct full scale war. I will return once I know what to do.GÇ¥ Fox GÇ£Very well Grease. Good luck and God speed.GÇ¥ We shook hands and I terminated comlink to join 0uter.Heaven. GÇâ 0uter.Heaven My contact in was an Amarrian man called Maglives. He and I met as opposing forces. Long ago, in my earlier days, he had taken the top of the emerald city. He was raining death with his powerful forge gun. A magnificient anti-vehicle weapon originally designed as a mining tool to displace solid mass with a concentrated anti-matter charge. The tool was weaponized because of the ability to destroy all manner of vehicles and auto defense turret installations. Looking back now it was the most powerful sniper rifle minus stealth. I shot him down twice. Impressed he sent mail asking GÇ£Why canGÇÖt we be friends?GÇ¥ Of course I thought it wonderful to have a sense of humor about it and said GÇ£We now are.GÇ¥ His strength was amazing and I generally didnGÇÖt want him against me either. Remembering our relationship I asked him if I could join the corporation. Mag spoke with a soft English accent GÇ£Sure. Mention me and that should be sufficient.GÇ¥ I gave a detailed application and within the hour was accepted as a member of 0uter.Heaven. I had to earn respect as I continued increasing my skills as both a sniper and my future role as a slayer on the ground.

this is a good example of what to share if you wish to be included: Nicholas Tekotch Nicholas Tekotch, Director of Outer.Heaven
I still hear their screams.... echoing.... forever....The screams of tens of thousands of confirmed kills by my hand alone. Oh yes, I remember every moment of it. I remember the satisfaction of slaughtering squads of newly cloned soldiers having no idea what they were getting themselves into. I remember slaughtering the veterans who would just pray that I end it quickly for them so as to not scar their minds. Above all I remember every piece of shrapnel that penetrated my body, and every plasma burn that withered my body as my mind grew clouded. Only to awake once more in a universe carved with the blood and sweat of my brothers and sisters in arms. A universe defined by life, death, fire and chaos, and a feeling of brotherhood no mortal could hope to understand. This is my story..........
My first day of work:
I woke up. For the first time in a foreign world that I couldn't even explain how I came to be standing upon. The sun was so bright. It reflected off a sea of sand only broken up by large rock outcroppings. I was thrown from this daze of awe and wonderment by the ground around me being flung into the air. Out of nowhere I felt incredible pressure on my chest like a sledgehammer crashing into my body knocking me to the ground. There was the red glow of a warning light coming from the lower left corner oh my HUD accompanied by an insistent noise notifying me that my shields have dropped below 10% Next thing I realize is I am being dragged behind one of the rock outcroppings. Suddenly there was a crackle over my communications an unknown soldier spoke to me in a commanding tone.
"You stupid ******* blueberry, you better use that ******* weapon of yours and not let one single red dot past this damn rock, do you understand!?!"
He turned from me and rolled around the rock, muzzle of his weapon ablaze, when he flopped back behind the rock. Laying on his back the unknown-soldier head slowly tilted toward me exposing a hole in the faceplate with gore leaking out the back.
"Sniper!!!" another voice frantically yelled over the coms.
I then watched two soldiers run past me flashing blue friend ID tags. They just continued to run away. I looked up in the left hand corner of my Hollographic Universal Display, or H.U.D; at a minimap and watched blue dots vanish one by one. Then there were none, as fear crept into my mind paralyzing my body. My heart sank and my breath was caught in my throat as I continued watching and witnessed two red dots enter the edge of my minimap. Coming closer and closer to the rock I was cowering behind. I looked back down at the soldier with the hole in his head and knew what would happen when the red dots reached me. Mustering what courage I could I shakily found my footing and readied my weapon. Leaping around the corner weapon raised I opened fire on the closest of two unsuspecting hostile ID tags emptying all 48 rounds at the hostile watching him stumble as blue flares erupted all around the enemies body. Yet he did not fall..... He and the other hostile turned on me in an instant. They gleamed with menacing black armor from head to foot that I had only ever seen worn by the elite veterans from posters I had seen in the barracks from last week. Wielding weapons that were probably worth more than anything I had ever owned. They opened fire on me. In less than a second my shields were gone as ruptures opened all over the mid-section of my armor. I look down as I watched my burning entrails spill into the sand before me. I collapsed to my knees and coughed as blood splattered the inside of my faceplate. My mind and face clouded and contorted with pain and agony. I looked up at the clad black figure looming over me with the rifle barrel in my face. With what was left of my consciousness I watched him pull the trigger.
Then I woke up... again.....though in my merc quarters. I checked my body and realized I was fine. It all seemed like a dream, but with the memories that now flooded my mind I knew it was wishful thinking. That pain and suffering was all real. It was something I'll never forget. It isn't a luxury I will ever know. This is the price I pay for being immortal.
This is the first chapter in my story and more shall be told... However I am retiring for the night.
Signing off: Nicholas Tekotch

Will the book include pretty pictures?
I have asked Nosaj to have his wife do some water paintings. If CCP would allow it I would definitely be down with some concept art.

This is for anyone who would be interested a show of what is and what is to come. Like I said much more than you would believe is actually done. I reserve the rest because its very special. This is a gift. So that you or people like you would open up and share your experiences good or bad. The book is epic already. I just want to give the community a chance to be remembered in a positive and hope filled light.
