There are safe zones in most redlines where you can guarantee you get a tank down on some maps you cannot. So that is really subjective. Additionally if vehicles did not work what about AV? I feel he has an actual point there True. Most of the commandos I know actually run with AV as their secondary weapon and they tend to mess vehicles up. They do it for the functionality of always being able to pack AV on them. Most also use plasma cannons to blow away heavies that step out infront of them.

It basically comes down to how much do you want to win....or cost your enemy ISK. 8 Enemy HAV..... this is potentially between 816,000K ISK and 4,648,000 ISK being presented to you at a single given time. Are you willing to expend the same or more ISK than this in a single go? While ISK certainly should never been the sole balancing feature ISK should factor into the anatomy of fights. What are you complaining about? I don't scream OP when the enemy fields 8 Heavies or 8 Scouts, or 8 Assaults, or 8 ADS, or 8 of X unit. Why should HAV be any different.
