No, they lost their updates deal with Sony BECAUSE they announced LEGION.

Kind of one stupid move after another. Poorly chosen programming team from China, they've been OUT PROGRAMMED by a 17 year old kid who was going solo (Unturned, which is basically a copy of Day Z but made from scratch and a basement apparently if what they say is true). They then tried to balance the game, without ever testing their balance changes.... about 5 times, they didn't learn from that at any point, then they announced Legion and lost their update discounts. Now they are stuck doing hotfixes because it costs too much to apply for an update.

Short sighted with a hint of laziness. Major downfalls were incoming.

This is so completely wrong on a level I cannot describe other than make believe.

Is it: You don't believe a single kid made more progress with a game in under a year than an entire CCP programming team? CCP had a one year, recurring, contract which enabled them to push forward patches at lower cost than normal, for the condition that their game was exclusively on the Playstation.
