For me, the ACR is better in CQC, but if you time your trigger pulls correctly the regular CR actually will put out more DPS.
As such, I don't really have a favorite, per se. I put the ACR on my medic suits because I figure I'll need to drop some suppressive fire or clear out a small area before using a needle. For my "general purpose" suits I use a CR.

I think it depends on your level of gun game.
Personally, I am not great, so I have found the ACR to work well when I am fighting more directly.
I find that if I take my time, and am attacking from behind or flanking, that the regular CR fits me better. Especially if I try to stick to a more front to back attack than if someone is crossing horizontally in front of me.

There isn't really a "better" gun it's personal preference. I like the burst CR's over full auto, I tend to bullet hose with them far too often.

After experimenting with both i think i like the ACR more becuase spamming the trigger on the burst gets tiring and i like the Iron sight for the ACR and it has good damage. But i would still use and like both

What he said, I personally prefer the ACR, it's fully auto and from my personal experience it has less kick than the burst, if you shoot a full clip non stop at long range it will get fussy though. The burst version is better at long ranges but it kicks a lot each burst, the main advantage of the burst is that it has more damage, so at long ranges it will do more damage per hit. Hope that helps, happy hunting! |
